Last Day Folks! Thanks for letting me do the threads.
Last night was GREAT! You can tell by the amount of slime that is being thrown us. Break out the poopcorn, it's going to be another late night!
Rush was on Cavuto earlier today as well.
He knows what’s at stake. He’s even thinking about donating to McCain.
Obama will be a disaster.
I had really hoped that McCain would do better. He did so well at Saddleback.
He was succinct there, but it was a forum on religious and moral beliefs.
McCain is blowing it on telling the average American what he is going to do as President, not what he is not going to do, and that all he has to do is love America and everything will be fine.
Bingo.
He really connected there at the end. I may not agree with everything he will do on domestic issues, but will feel safe knowing he is our Commander-in-Chief.
I will say one thing, it included everything the critics said Palins speech lacked. Her’s they said lacked substance, but was very well delivered, while his was all substance but was at times was a little dull. She attacked Obama with a passion, which we all loved and the critics thought was over the top, while McCain for the most part was easy on Obama.

They don’t know how to react because they don’t recognize authenticity when they see it.
They don’t appreciate bravery and sacrifice.
They hate patriotism.
The fact that he flubbed some lines and had some uncomfortable pauses will make them shout victory.
But most americans saw a hero up there trying his best to keep his sh&t together on the most important night of his life while Obama’s freaks were showing us what “community organizers” really are.
McCain will beat Obama in the debates because he actually has a brain.
I will, but he’ll just blush and blow it off. He’s an old soldier.
Maybe ‘Red’ needs to spend some quality time at my local VA, talking with some of my veteran friends who’ve been where they’ve been, and gone through the horrors that many Vietnam veterans still can’t talk about.
If I hadn’t listened to the stories that some veterans have shared with me, maybe I would be as tired of hearing the “POW story line” as ‘Red’ seems to be.
But I have listened. And I am honored that these men would find me worthy of sharing. So any time John McCain, or any Veteran, wants to share his or her experiences with me, I’d be honored to listen.
And, it probably helps us the most in those states we must win like Ohio, Virginia, and Colorado.

Thanks for saying what you did. yes there are some that disagree with John Mccain on issues, but the man is a Hero, and the most qualified and the only one in this race that can be trusted to be POTUS, so I agree and these poeple need to get behind John McCain and stop knocking him. I hate armchair quarterbacks! I will not apologize to them either, while I respect what they (patriciaruth) do for our troops, they are not serving our troops by being critical of the ONLY man in the race that will stand by those same troops!
I have a feeling by November 4th McCain will be beating Obama like a redheaded stepchild and Rex will be winning for the Bears after the world sees how much Orton sucks.
And it will be the week I’m scheduled to become an aunt, a week after the Cubs win the world series and 11 days after I go to a Halloween wedding of 2 dear friends.
I can’t wait,
