What did we see tonight?
Tonight, we either saw a watershed in American politics, a tour de force, the most striking and graceful debut in our nations political life, and a national introduction that makes Barack Obamas 2004 convention address look like small potatoes or we saw what we wanted to see, and the countrys persuadable independents saw something else. Im afraid to believe. If Im wrong, I dont really know what Americans want. I know conservatives are thrilled to pieces, and they ought to be. She knocked it out of the park. I dont think she could have delivered that speech any better. Even if I hadnt suggested a line, I would say that the speech hit almost every note just right. (Did the Obama fans feel this way? Is this what their exultation feels like? Wonderful. Im glad they get to experience it too.)
My e-mail box is thrilled. Cam's Talkbackers are thrilled "you called down the thunder, and now ya have it."

And I thought Rudy's speech was a tough act for her to follow. But she did it. Very very impressive performance by Sarah.
That AWESOME speech single-handedly made all the attacks on her by the MSM look REALLY small in comparison. It could not happen to a nicer bunch of people.
She keeps this up and all those states are in play.
As others have stated I think we have seen the emergence of a future leader of fantastic potential. If we let the media destroy her we will deserve what we get.
Joe Biden does not have a chance with her. He will be dead before he hits the floor and never know it.
They mature fast up there on the tundra!
I’m sure you folks are out there somewhere tonight but I’ll try and ping you here. What did you think of our next Vice President’s speech?
I don’t see it that way.
Democrats tend to take office because they want to rule. She wants to take office to serve the people, ‘a public servant’, which is what they are supposedly elected to do.
It’s the right attitude for a leader.
On full view, She showed us how it is supposed to be done.
Nice work.
Obama and Biden have just been shown to be still fumbling with their skate laces off the field of play, while Sarah skates in, body slams, and checks the main stream media dem-crat enablers to the boards.
Game on.
You can get a driver's license at 12 in Alaska???
That's just crazy!
“Past time the Elistest Establishement get a swift kick in the butt. Palin is that kick. “
It appeared that she drop kicked Obama/Bin Biden about 180 from the butt.
IT WAS A SLAM DUNK SPEECH. THE LIBS ARE SPINNNNNNNING!
BRAVO, SARAH!!!
WE'RE ALL JUST RAISIN' McCAIN.............!!!
I LOVED that!!
Tonight was an awesome night. I will campaign for McCain now....this time last week the best I could come up with was get drunk and vote for McCain. Not anymore!
Welcome aboard.
But of course you need to spell it:
Obama and Joe palin comparison to John and Sarah.
I really hope that McCain decides to serve only one term, so that I can vote for Sarah Palin for President in 2012.
The greatest measure of how well she did tonight will be the level of vitriol that will be directed against her tomorrow and in the coming days. The liberals believe that Palin is the most evil Republican and the greatest threat to their liberal causes since Reagan.
The slime that they have flung so far is nothing compared to what is going to come. The Democrats and the MSM wing of the Democrat party are going to be frantic tomorrow. They will look like a pool of starving piranhas.
I love the smell of liberal flop sweat in the morning. It smells like ... Victory!
What is that crunchy, munchy sound? Democrats everywhere eating their livers out!
“What did we see tonight?”
We saw a future President of the united States.
Perhaps even another Margarete Thatcher.
We also saw a strong American Woman swat her detractors like so many flies — especially the MSM.
She also smacked that, eh... you know, that guy... what’s his name?
... Baroka Obambe or something?
I love our Sarah Barracuda!

Wow! What a great post. I may have to steal some of your lines.
A star is born.
Oh Yeah! Quite clever, indeed.
I'm sure you're very proud of your sons. My son also currently serves in the U.S. Army.
Regards, R.
