UPDATE and a note: It is not uncommon for “lost” or “missing” people to contact authorities letting the authorities know that they are ok and do not want there whereabouts disclosed. ‘Nuff said.

Etidal Abdullah’s family has been pleading publically for her safe return for nearly a week, with no results.
One of Abdullah’s family friends, Anwar Muflahi, said, “The main concern is her safety.”
Family members and friends of Etidal Abdullah held a prayer vigil even though she called News 4 and Police earlier this week to say she’s okay and to stop searching for her.
Anwar Muflahi, said, “Some of her family members did listen to the tape and it was her.””
