To hell with the New York Times and the Washington Post.
It took a while to make this decision, but I’ve finally decided to stop reading these savagely biased publications. With the exception of William Kristol and David Brooks, there’s virtually nothing worth reading on the Times’ op-ed page—and those columns, along with the columns of other occasional conservative contributions such as Matthew Continetti and Ramesh Ponnuru, can easily be accessed through such sites as Robinson and Long. As for the Post, conservative op-ed columnists George Will and Charles Krauthammer can be found on such online outlets as Townhall.
There was a time when the “progressive” bias of the Times and the Post was somewhat tolerable, but that time has long passed. The treatment that John McCain’s running mate, Sarah Palin, received in both papers was the proverbial final straw. The Times and the Post are now to intelligent Americans what hip-hop is to an eighty-year-old retiree.
It wasn’t that long ago when the Times and the Post presented a vision that one could respect, even if one disagreed with it. No longer. Both papers are now super-saturated with gloom-and-doom coverage of the economy, the bleakest interpretation possible of foreign events, and a raging damnation of all things conservative and Republican.
A decade ago, Maureen Dowd and Frank Rich wrote columns on the Times’ op-ed page that were certainly liberal in tone, but that non-liberals could read without being repulsed. Non-liberals haven’t been able to do that in quite a while. Dowd and Rich are now so filled with contempt for non-“progressives” that they don’t care about preaching to anyone besides the choir. The Dems on the Post’s op-ed page aren’t any different.

MSM has a decidedly liberal bias. I pick up a newspaper every once in a while to keep an eye on the enemy. Most times it makes me a little ill to read some of the op-ed pieces and the letters to the editor that they see fit to print. I think a conservative paper could do quite well in the market.

It took 16 years to get him here, but the MSM finally snowed enough Republicans into nominating him if they wanted any hope of winning.
Of course they did it the same way they convinced much of the public that Clarence Thomas was a sexual harrasser: a blatant marketing campaign.
Please, I have no time for you conspiracy loons. McCain won because we didn't have a better conservative enough people could agree on--Romney turned off the anti-Mormons, Huckabee turned off the sane.

Many times when i see the political leader or adviser guests of TV shows they look like children who are very happy to be there under the spot lights ,as if it was a favour,a gift granted to them by the BIG MSM POWER...And they always say :”thank you John,thank you Wolf,thank you...”

We couldn't agree because we are free-thinking people who don't march in lockstep. We aren't just one group of Conservatives. We are a lot more diverse than you or the MSM seem to think. Thompson, McCain, Huckabee, Romney, Giuliani are all different from each other, and there was no consensus pick--which is a GOOD thing. In the end, the candidate who was smart enough to ride out the election conditions as they were won--the others, who didn't know how to win, lost.

I would not be surprised if BO pressured the NY Slimes to make Jason Blair the publisher. It would be in keeping with the objectives of the old fish wrapper!
Couldn’t agree more. I stopped reading these publications five years ago, and I used to have the NYT delivered daily.
We can turn his into the most expensive media mistake ever.
How? By getting conservatives off their keyboards and seeing that the McCain campaign has more money and volunteers than they know what to do with.
