On a personal level, Greenberg was “impressed by Governor Palin’s remarks of hope and faith when she gave birth to a child with special needs.” Her words, he observed, were completely aligned with Judaism’s traditional views on embracing the birth of child with special needs as a gift of G-d, no less than is the birth of any baby.

Choke on it Wexler.

(After the interview with Rabbi Greenberg, Shturem.net was informed that Governor Palin had actually supported Buchanan's competitor Steve Forbes at the time).

Important to remember this since some Obama blogger is trying to forward the slander that Palin is an Alaska Independence Party plant.

“She may lack a lot of knowledge on matters pertaining to foreign policy

how would he know? He doesn’t have foreign policy experience. McCain does (not because he likes to talk about policy but because he was PROVEN to be correct on the surge. PROVEN on missile defense, etc) and chose her because he liked her sense of how to deal with other countries.

Obama doesn’t have any foreign policy experience so how would he know if Biden is a good pick for him? Because Biden hung around the Senate for years? After all, Biden came up with the Iraq split plan and that was pretty dumb...Obama would rely on Biden’s experience?

Pat Buchanan ran as a Republican for President in two election...1992, and 1996...it wasn’t until 2000 that Buchanan ran as an independent.

In 1992, Buchanan explained his reasons for challenging the incumbent, President George H. W. Bush: “If the country wants to go in a liberal direction, if the country wants to go in the direction of [Democrats] George Mitchell and Tom Foley, it doesn’t bother me as long as I’ve made the best case I can. What I can’t stand are the back-room deals. They’re all in on it, the insider game, the establishment game — this is what we’re running against.”[5]

He ran on a platform of economic nationalism, immigration reduction, and social conservatism, including opposition to multiculturalism, abortion, and gay rights. Buchanan seriously challenged Bush (whose popularity was waning) when he won 38 percent of the seminal New Hampshire primary. In the primary elections, Buchanan garnered three million total votes.

Buchanan later threw his support behind Bush, and delivered a keynote address at the 1992 Republican National Convention,

**Sarah Pelin has established a great relationship with the Jewish community over recent years, and has attended several of our Jewish cultural gala events,” said Rabbi Yossel Greenberg, Chabad emissary in Alaska. **
