You have no concept of moral and social issues, do you?
Sir. Do you see NOTHING wrong with an unplanned teenage pregnancy?
Do you not know that conservatives on this forum routinely disparage young teenaged mothers?
Now we are praising them?
Sorry. I’m not a hypocrite.
And let me also challenge you. Post one article from last week disclosing this pregnancy.
Can’t do it? That’s because it was politically expedient for McCain/Palin to hide that fact.
And that’s a low-life move.
I guess fishin’ is out.
No one is praising her for being pregnant. Everyone is praising her for telling her parents and deciding to have her baby and marry her boyfriend.
Most of what you pass off as debate points or arguements are simply lies.
It’s already been proven that they hid nothing. The girl was known to be pregnant and wearing an engagement ring from her boyfriend. You will never sell the lie that because McCain or Palin didn’t announce it to the world prior to or at the time Palin was announced, that they were hiding it.
It isn’t hidden. It’s out there to be known and seen and found out by anyone.
Another lie is that there’s an automatic political issue to be had if the child of a candidate does something or other that’s normally a personal matter. She didn’t commit a crime. She wasn’t arrested, didn’t get pulled over or caught with a phoney ID buying booze, etc. Even if she had, that’s HER, not her mother.
You seem to think you’re hot stuff. You look dishonest, dimwitted and venal, if you ask me.
And even if you didn’t.
“You have no concept of moral and social issues, do you?”
OH, I assure you he does.
First, how do you know it was unplanned? Second, Bristol and her family are taking complete responsibility for the situation, and so is the father of the child.
Mostly the ones who don’t even know who the father is, and who abort the child before it is born, or as.
Or who are on drugs, and neglect their newborn.
What we are praising is the STAND UP and TAKE RESPONSIBILITY attitude and actions of the entire PALIN FAMILY.
Cant do it? Thats because it was politically expedient for McCain/Palin to hide that fact.”
Just because YOU didn’t know about, means very little.
EVERYONE in ALASKA knew about it, and both SARAH and her husband made a public announcement about it, instead of waiting for it to be discovered.
No one was ‘hiding’ anything. The media wants you to think so, though.
No, a low-life move is the bloggers that have accused Bristol of being the mother of TRIG, and say the father is either Bristol’s dad, TODD, or the EX TROOPER that Sarah got fired.
That is low-life. Very, bottom of the barrel low-life.
There is fine line between doing what is right and being sanctimonious. In the end, we pray the girl will, if she hasn't already, look at the child as a blessing and as long as they are good parents who do not go on welfare, then she has a chance to make it right. Let's give her that chance.
No one is praising this. What they are praising is her decision not to have an abortion and to marry the father.
I’d like to hear when it would be a good time to out of the blue willingly bring a 17 year old’s pregnancy into the national discussion. What relevance does that have? Should McCain announce Palin and so oh by the way her daughter’s pregnent.
You don’t need to be a hypocrite. You are ridiculous.
No - McCain/Palin aren't the low-lifes........YOU ARE!
Esquire, is that you? You sound just like Esquire. Are you Esquire?
Of what interest is the daughter’s sin to you? Are you her priest?
If Palin had sinned in a way that the public should know about, that would be a different matter. But the sins of her daughter?
Anyway, it’s not like they hid it. They simply didn’t make it part of the initial announcement.
BTW, being pregnant is not a sin. Having sex was the sin.
So, if her mother knew she was having sex, but she had NOT been pregnant, would you have insisted they tell us that their child was committing adultery? Of what business is that of yours?
You continue to NOT answer that simple question — why do you care that some 17-year-old-girl had sex?
BTW, they announced her pick Friday at noon. They announced her pregnancy and her engagement to the world Monday — before ANY news source had found the truth.
And if not for the media poking around, I would have preferred the girl be given a chance to tell her story to a local reporter, in her own time — it was HER privacy, not her mother’s that was being breached here.
BTW, I presume you are sending notes to the other candidates, like Bob Barr, and you send a simliar e-mail to Duncan Hunter when he was a candidate, insisting that he disclose to you his son’s sexual habits, since that apparently is something you feel the right to know.
