BTW, they announced her pick Friday at noon. They announced her pregnancy and her engagement to the world Monday — before ANY news source had found the truth.

And if not for the media poking around, I would have preferred the girl be given a chance to tell her story to a local reporter, in her own time — it was HER privacy, not her mother’s that was being breached here.

BTW, I presume you are sending notes to the other candidates, like Bob Barr, and you send a simliar e-mail to Duncan Hunter when he was a candidate, insisting that he disclose to you his son’s sexual habits, since that apparently is something you feel the right to know.

I totally agree with you. This is a private matter, and it should have been Bristol’s prerogative to treat it that way.

We’ve heard the Libs say that abortion is a “medical procedure” and that a person’s medical records are a “privacy matter”, but they have no problem publicizing this.

Hypocritical bastards!
