Relax, bucko. It was just posted within the hour. I've been defending McCain's choice of Palin on another thread.
So McCain knew about the pregnancy and still choose Palin. McCain has pulled one of the royal boners of all time --- a first class blunder. It will cost him dearly with many voters.
“McCain has pulled one of the royal boners of all time”
So you are now saying John did “bad stuff” with Price Charles? The news just keeps getting worse and worse.
I think you’re wrong about this.
I believe that this will be far less a negative for McCain/Palin than you suggest here.
That said, my initial take on it was pretty much the same as you - - - time will tell.
You're wrong. Most families will believe it to be a private matter, not one for publicity.
It will cost him dearly with many voters.
What voters?
Nearly half (45%) of the 6.4 million pregnancies in 2004 occurred among unmarried women, so the typical "unwed mother" is no longer a teen but, in fact, an older woman.

Who will these mortified voters vote for? They are probably the same ones on 2000 that didn’t vote for Bush because he had a DUI 30 yrs. earlier.
I disagree strongly that this will hurt McCain. I don’t see how this reflects poorly on Sarah Palin at all. Its not like she lied or tried to cover it up. True she didn’t announce it to the heavens when she first accepted the nomination. However, she had her daughter where an engagement ring on her ring finger so its not like she tried to cover it up either. The only thing that this will do is make the KOS folks look like absolute scumbags who drudged up a skeliton in her daughters closet. If anything this will endear her more to conservative Christian families because she did the right thing and encouraged her daughter to get married and have the baby.
