"Correction: He's a sperm doner. Whether he becomes a father or not remains to be seen. Many teenagers cannot handle the responsibility."

I love it when a stranger condemns another person based upon no personal knowledge of that whatsoever. It's SO open minded.

What in the world was wrong with that statement? We DON’T know how the kids will handle all this. We hope and pray it works out, but the deck is stacked against them.

If we really are pro-life, we need to be for the ENTIRE life of the child, not just it’s birth. Yes, some teen marriages work and some young couples raise fine upstanding children. But the odds are not in their favor.

Is it un PC to point out that they have a much harder road than those who do it in the proper order? And these days, cultural influences make it even tougher than it was 50, 60 years ago. Divorce is not the stain it once was and we live in a world that discourages self-sacrifice. These kids will have to mature quickly and I truly, truly do hope they will.

I love it when people tell the truth and spare no punches. I might also add that Palin's husband has a DUI conviction (yeah.. please tell me everyone drives while intoxicated/no big deal/17 years ago/blah-blah-blah)

What happened to the days when Americans would take one look at these 2 factors and disqualify the candidate as unfit to lead?

I think the rest of the world respected the U.S. a lot more when its people weren't afraid to judge someone or whack a person from the list based on their moral track record. This is the VP of the United States, here. Not president of the homeowner's association or YMCA coach.

McCain disappoints me big time with this situation. I think he's brilliant in the sense that the dem's cannot strike at this woman without a little self-castration in the process, but I'd rather have any number of honest folks without the blemishes on their resume.

It goes beyond just winning for me.
