Who’d a thought a FReeper would need to don his or her Kevlar underwear as we simply point out that sin is wrong. And that public figures can not lead private lives. And that being “in love” is no excuse. And that it is hypocritical for us to condemn democrats for acting this way, yet we can condone it among republicans.

Sure sin is wrong and MANY people on this thread agree with that premise. But what's done is done - and Bristol and the father of her baby have to now live their lives knowing that a newborn baby will be part of it.

There's certainly no evidence that the Palin family has not embraced the command to "Go and sin no more" in regards to this issue.

I agree with all of you - for Bristol to have done this was wrong. It was immoral. She sinned.

I’m still asking what the correct response to this is for the mom and for her family?

By extension, what is the most moral response for McCain?
