ST. PAUL -- The 17-year-old daughter of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is pregnant, Palin said on Monday in an announcement intended to knock down rumors by liberal bloggers that Palin faked her own pregnancy to cover up for her child.

RE: “So you are now saying John did bad stuff with Price Charles? The news just keeps getting worse and worse”
OH, thanks for the laughs — your post had me laughing so hard I woke up the dog!
I am overwhelmed and humbled that many have found that post helpful.
They can’t prevent her from making a life-altering mistake, but they *can* put their daughters on birth control, like most responsible parents.
Sorry to say this folks, but not putting a 16-year-old girl on birth control is monumentally stupid, whether you preach abstinence or not.
Really? OK tell me, if we were to take ALL the people in the world (around 5 Billion) and stood them in a group giving each perosn about 1 square yard. How many States of the UNite States of America would they cover?
The record will speak for itself.
LURKER. Meaning someone who hangs out here without posting. There are probably thousands lurking here.
You are correct, my appoligies... I misquoted you 100%... my answer was to your post, but somehow I got the wrong quote.
Well, I'm sure there's many folks on this forum who do not appreciate having their actions being called stupid.
Perhaps you might be more respectful of differing opinions.
Sarah Palin from a 2006 Eagle Forum Alaska questionnaire:
Q: Will you support funding for abstinence-until-marriage education instead of for explicit sex-education programs, school-based clinics, and the distribution of contraceptives in schools?
Palin: Yes, the explicit sex-ed programs will not find my support.
Indeed you are correct. And calling a human being, created by God, something evil is a perfect example of that.
So, your not upset that she had teenage sex but you are upset that she got pregnant. Their is nothing immoral about getting pregnant or not being on birth control. It was immoral for her to have premarital sex, however, she is acting responsibly, keeping the kid and getting married. So, we should be encouraging her rather than attacking her. Frankly, I don’t see how you can be mad at her or her mother over the birth control issue since birth control is simply not a moral issue.
Yes it will. You are incapable of a coherent response. If you have a problem with my original post you are not quite sentient. I don’t care how long FR has tolerated you.
Indeed that is the only morally acceptable approach.
If my mother were still alive, I'd give you her phone number and you could call and ask her the same question. Only leave out the dad part and welfare, both were non-existant in the '50s...............as were jobs in northern Michigan.
OMG are you insane? I hope this isnt your view. What kind of deranged person would give a baby up for adoption when the baby is loved and wanted and has the support of a mother, father and grandparents?
Best compliment you’ve ever received, so cherish it. ;o)
I never claimed a problem with your original post, n00b. I don’t care about your original post.
