a) Obama/Biden
b) McCain/Palin
c) any other course of action
Either (a) or (b) will win.

I’ll make no bones about it that McCain was not my first choice. I’m still no fan of him. I think I have to vote for him because Obama is so awful, but I can sure criticize him when I think he makes a mistake.
I think he made a mistake in how he handled the Palin roll out, and it’s too early to say if it was a mistake to pick her.

What do you want us to do crucify the mother for the actions of her daughter or have the mother disown her daughter. None of us are arguing that teen pregnancy is good its just that you have to react with love not condemnation.
An unwed mother and absent father are not good. The baby still is. The mother can meet someone and get married. The father can decide to actually be a father. The situation does not have to remain bad. But remember, the situation and the baby are not the same thing.

Well, I was wrong about a few posters then. But most of the real vocal prolife posters are still strongly supporting Sarah.
There’s a big difference between love and celebration.
There was one poster saying we should throw Bristol a shower. That’s a celebration. It’s one thing to send a baby gift, and it’s another to throw a party for her.
but we do still have to acknowledge our sins and our screw-ups and then repent and ask forgiveness.
I’m sure she has repented and is being reminded of her horrible (/sarc) sin for the past 5 months.

That's what I pointed out to another poster...Trig would have had to be born April 1st and Bristol would have had to get pregnant the day he was born for her to now be 5 months pregnant.
'Course math or logic should never stand in the way of some of these people when they are trying to prove their warped views.

I, too, would be interested to read what you'd suggest should be Palin's stated reasons for declining the nomination now.
