A woman — but why this woman? [Sarah Palin]
The Baltimore Sun ^ | 1 Sep 2008 | Susan Reimer

Posted on 09/01/2008 8:37:27 AM PDT by maica

So. This is what being pandered to feels like.

John McCain picked Sarah Palin, governor of Alaska and mother of five, to be his running mate to woo women like me.

He seems to think that my girlfriends and I are so disappointed that an utterly qualified woman is not going to be president that we will jump at the chance to vote for an utterly unqualified woman for vice president.

You gotta love a guy who thinks things are that simple.

Women already outvote men in this country, and it isn't because we like voting for all those women on the ballot.

Does McCain think we will be so grateful for a skirt on the ticket that we won't notice that she's anti-abortion, a member of the NRA and thinks creationism should be taught alongside evolution?

Liberals are imploding over this.

No one even remembers Obamarama actually gave a speech last week.

They are going to piss off a lot of women with the comments they are making about Palin.

For example, this one where he says we are so anxious to vote aor any skirt whether qualified or not...
let me rephrase and see how they feel...

Liberals are so ready to vote for any BLACK that they dont care if he is qualified or not

(Palin is more qualified than Obama)

I WILL be votign for PALIN this election after all (oh and her running mate McCain somebody)

and 4 or 8 years from now PALIN can run!!!!!!!!!!

Of course, were McCain to have picked a male with more experience - e.g. Romney or Thompson - Reimer and her ilk would be screeching that conservatives are just a bunch of old white guys. Had McCain picked Colin Powell or Ken Blackwell, they would’ve been token as well.

How is it that Susan Reimer is up for the killing of children, but doesn’t want me to be able to kill the
criminal threatening my family?

I’m starting to believe in “retroactive abortion”, if you’re this stupid once you reach adulthood then maybe it’s time for you to go!

I’m curious. What “utterly qualified woman” that she didn’t get a chance to elect might she be talking about? Surely not who I think she is.

By the way, I think Charles Darwin himself, had he been granted the opportunity to attend the convention last week, would gladly have burnt and repudiated his works. Clearly too many of the unfit are surviving.

Interesting. This leftist writer simply can’t contain her rage over Gov. Palin’s selection. The phony “sisterhood” veneer peels away to reveal the hate bubbling within.

What qualifies Hillary other than having gotten elected senator in a state she had never lived in before just because her last name was Clinton? Hillary is just as unqualified to be president as Obama is.
