and here ] are all over the theory that Sarah Palin's four-month-old baby may actually be her grandchild - the son of her 16-year-old daughter, who missed most of the last school year with what the family said was mononucleosis.

My first thought is that this sort of scrutiny has to be really hard on the 16-year-old girl in question. And my second thought was that IF this turns out to be true, I'll find it a really scary example - perhaps the most scary example of anything I've seen in a long time - of a politician who would do anything to get elected.

And if this IS true, Sarah Palin has opened her daughter up to a rough ride by exposing her family to the national press. The mainstream media only recently found itself badly burned when tabloids and bloggers completely scooped them on a salacious rumor (John Edwards' affair) that turned out to be 100% true. You can bet the press won't let this happen again, and I guarantee you that there are reporters in Alaska right this minute, poring over school, birth, and travel records, as well as looking at every photo of this family that they can get their hands on.

I’m with you...I’m a worrier by nature and this worries me. This rumor has legs. I’ve yet to see ANY pictures of an obviously-pregnant Governor Palin - the pix posted by some claiming they are proof of her pregnancy are either fuzzy or show her in loose clothes...nothing I’ve seen so far seems to show an obvious pregnant belly. Contrarily, there ARE some pictures of Palin pregnant with Track floating around, and she is HUGE, and clearly pregnant. She announced her pregnancy to her staff at 7 months, and they were all shocked because she didn’t look at all pregnant, according to an article I read in an Anchorage newspaper. This is concerning. If it turns out that Bristol was removed from school for 4-8 months during this same time frame, as has been reported in the blogs, you can bet this rumor will take off as fast if not faster than the fake Bush/Killian memos we uncovered back in 2004.
About Alan Colmes and his insanity: He is supposedly all for choice. In fact, choice trumps all. She could have had a late term abortion and Alan could have cared less - according to his ‘religion’ he would have celebrated her choice. It's her body - her choice. EXCEPT if she decided she wanted to have the baby at home in Alaska. Now she is a bad mother. Now she has bad judgment. Now she exercised bad ‘choice’.
Alan can't have it both ways: Either the mother is godlike and can decide if a child lives or dies, or she isn't. Alan is one messed up individual. He can't complain about her putting the life of the child in jeopardy, because he is willing to hand over to women the right to END the life of the child. Why is Alan in such a tizzy about her water breaking - he supports sucking the brains out of Downs Syndrome babies and throwing the bodies away!

The Killion rumor I personally checked out to see if it had legs and quickly found it had so many holes and was even discredited on sympathetic sites which I had clandestingly monitored. This one I can’t knock down to satisfy me. I’m just giving me a bad gut feeling and I have found in my lifetime never to mistrust my gut. That feeling is well founded in science. There is a reason we have those feelings and right now my stomach is quite queasy.
I spent my lifetime in investigation and never gave it up until I knew I was right. I’m nowhere near there yet. Isn’t there someone from Alaska who knew her in the last months who can clear this up? I should think so. I want first hand accounts and no second or third hand hearsay. These photos simply won’t cut it.

I’ve seen that and I’ve waded through the several hundred posts over there to see what they are coming up with. They are looking at birth records at the hospital; how much time it took to drive to the hospital and all the rest.
I said yesterday this was trouble if it couldn’t be knocked down. I’m am very sorry that I have been proven correct. Please, someone who can speak to this from first hand knowledge, please come forward. Surely there must be someone in her office or somewhere at the hospital, doctor, nurse who can put this to rest.

The photo of both don’t prove anything. We need some hard evidence to put this to bed. The sooner the better.
There are three issues to deal with.
“Troopergate”; in my opinion has no legs.
Travel back to Alaska is not a problem in that she can make the argument she knew there was time based on her previous experience.
But the inability to find hospital records; the time from the airport; no record of the hospital records is very troubling. Right now, that web site is down, or at least the last time I checked. A poster at Kos said that the only record from the date was another birth but not this baby.
Damn it; someone come forward and knock this down. Otherwise, we are looking at Eagleton II. I’ve seen this movie before and I didn’t like it in 1972 and I sure as heck don’t like it now.
Perhaps the medical record personel have to get a signature of release before they release medical records, like everywhere else in the country.
Chill out people. This is just baseless rumor. Until someone can provide anything other than speculation, who cares?
Several photos of Sarah pregnant have been posted. What evidence have the KOS/DU kooks provided? Nothing, NADA. Just a theory.
Well I have a theory that Obama had a baby last month while he was on vacation. There. That is the same evidence the KOS/DU kooks have.

Comparing this photo with all of her fit & trim photos in recent years there is no doubt that we are looking at a woman in advanced pregnancy. Oh, I suppose the nutty leftists will say she has a pillow under her clothes to pull off the scam. I am giving this scurrilous rumor not the slightest credence and no one else should either. The burden of proof is on the scumbags who want to claim this nonsense is true.
I agree but there are exceptions and this is one of those times. She can authorize that release and I strongly urge she do it forthwith and stop this in its tracks.
The only logical reason I can see for McCain to allow this to continue on would be to let the left wing get so far out on the limb they saw it off behind them and go crashing down to earth. They will have been discredited and this will take a lot of wind out of their sails. It is said that McCain is a gambler so perhaps that is his plan. Meanwhile his supporters are sweating bullets out here waiting for xxx to hit the fan.
In addition to Moore, we have Kos, Drudge and Andrew Sullivan running with this story. McCain can’t sit on this forever. It will be the ruination of his campaign and the convention.
Krauthammer, as right as they come, said choosing her was “suicidal.” I have learned to trust his judgment.

Nobody is questioning that Hillary isn’t Chelsea’s mother, we’re questioning that Bill Clinton is Chelsea’s father. Chelsea looks nothing like Bill Clinton and everything like Webb Hubble.
OK, I agree she looks pregnant in that photo and certainly the date is important. That’s good circumstantial evidence but not absolute proof.
