I don’t think it is slow.
I believe this has been a timely deliberation, given the proven fickleness of HERricanes.
In fact, last report I got, there is now a possibility this one won’t be as bad as forecast 12 hours ago.

McCain announcing suspension of the first day. Sounds slow, but he is warming up.I won't sugar coat it; he wasn't in best form at all, looking and sounding very tired. Fox was too busy in commercials to carry it. CNN and MSNBC did and their idiot commentators will take the footage and run with it.
