Party change has to occur from within. That’s exactly how the far left took control of the Democrats and how our side has been fighting the so-called moderate Republicans.

You did no such thing.

Yes, actually, calcowgirl did, but you were too busy fawning over the RINO McCain to notice.

Right here:

To: Alas Babylon!

McCain: "I am for a living wage for all Americans"

Oh, joy.

Susan Eisenhower proved that with her jump from RINO to full blown democrat.

Ike is rolling over in his grave.

Uhhh sorry but utter craziness is bemoaning a candidate that has been chosen who agrees with us on at least a majority of his views.

Juan was chosen by the MSM, the powers that be, and the Democrats and liberals who crossed the aisle to vote in GOP primaries.

Furthermore, if Juan supposedly agrees with conservatives on the majority of his views, then why is he all for Al Gore's carbon cap-and-trade, amnesty and benefits for illegals, closing Gitmo, voting against Bush's tax cuts, and bailing out private companies with taxpayer money (Socialism for the rich)?

Or are you trying to suggest that conservatives are all in favor of such Socialist treachery?

Biden is a long time Bolshevik and fierce enemy of conservatism during the Reagan years. He’s so pitiful and mean he can’t get more than five hundred votes in a primary from his fellow nutjobs.

Susan Eisenhower has more courage than the RINO Socialist charlatan Juan McQueeg. At least she jumped. Instead, he remains, masquerading as a conservative and playing dirty tricks against conservatives on behalf of his handlers.

I think Ali is gone so I’ll comment. Freepers have lead the way with holding all politicians feet to the fire. Just as Bush caught hell here over Dubai, the Meyers nomination and the immigration bill, so will McCain be in everyone’s sights if and when he pulls some bonehead stunt.

But before we can hold McCain accountable ‘now’ he has to win and we have to make sure Obama and Biden are not elected.

Ironically, Obama is doing the same thing. He is lying and will say anything to get elected, knowing once he’s in office the rest will be a moot point. For example NO Democrat has passed a tax reduction since Kennedy, that I know of, but every one of them claim they will cut taxes on the middle class. It’s a lie to get elected.

“I like Palin being with McCain and talking with Barbour in MS. She has experience on disaster preparation and no doubt will further impress McCain with her discussion, observations and questions of Barbour on his state’s preparation. IMO, it will be more of a learning experience for McCain than for Palin.”

Good point. It would be GREAT if that occurred that McCain brought that up so as to lift HER up.

Still lost in your bitterness?

Don’t you have a John Birch meeting to go to?

>>“I posted a troublesome quote from McCain.”

You did no such thing.

Yes. I did. See post #345 here:

McCain: "I am for a living wage for all Americans"

You came in here to help a fellow troll.

Wrong. What post prior to my #345 do you allege I came to support?
(And just because someone does not agree with you does not make them a "troll.")

Go piss and moan in your bitterness somewhere else.

My bitterness? Whew!

100%’ers in the Republican party are no different thatn the DUmmies. Neither are happy unless everyone else is misarable with them.

I'm far from a 100%er. But does that mean we should just "shut up and take it" when liberal actions are pushed? Do you support minimum wages and "living wages"? How about amnesty? How about the global warming scam? Or the cap-and-trade debacle that will destroy the economy? A GM bailout? If pushed by Republicans, will you be okay with all of these and remain silent?

The one person I have no problems using the traitor label with is John Kerry. He prolonged the Vietnam war. He is responsible for soldiers deaths, even if only indirectly due to his traitorous testimony. He has consistently failed to support the troops and our country.

Hey ace what is the point!

He is the candidate! What do you propose doing about it at this late date?

We made our opinions known for some time now and we did get an excellent choice in a VP. If you don't like it go back under the bridge and cry until 2012.

That's about all you can do at this point isn't it.

Or what did you have in mind?

No, he is a candidate.

And since he is not conservative, you find someone who is conservative and support that person.

Not too hard, eh? Two months is a long time.

No I’ve got you pegged. You are one of those angry 100%’ers.

It seeps out of your pores in every post you make.

I dare you to find where myself or the majority of the people here have gotten behind McCain and been drinking the Kool aid as you and the other pissed off trolls of your ilk are claiming.

Instead of trying to contribute intelligent discussion to the mix you come in like the upset bitter troll you are and take a crap on the rug.

God forbid Republicans be happy that they now have a chance to actually win this election.

If you’re not happy then by God you’re gonna make everyone just as miserable as you.

Look I’m sorry that your one issue candidate didn’t make it through the primaries...but acting like a DU reject isn’t oing to endear you to anyone around here.

Get over it and yourself already.

Is it all about elections for you?

I’m more concerned about liberal policies being enacted by either candidate.

There is a lot more that can be done for conservatism than just voting a guy into office.

I’ll be fighting liberal policies whether before or after the election, and no matter who wins the election.
