On a local (Baltimore) talk show yesterday, a county executive phoned in to say that he had been a mayor of a town similar to Palin’s and he called it a “twenty four hour a day part time job.” He said that you are responsible for the trash pickup, the grass mowed on the ballfield, as well as balancing the budget, etc.

He also said that the residents know where you live, where you shop and go to church

Yep. How many people can rise from a job with real accountability mandated like a local mayor to the heights Palin has reached? She is someone with a real record as a leader and administrator. That’s what mayors and county execs and governors do. They either put up or get voted out. Of the four people involved in this thing, she has the MOST experience in answering the direct demands of voters and constituents with real results. I’m already up-to-here sick of hearing the libs question her experience. Their guy Obama has nothing to rival Palin’s and Biden has spent decades bloviating, flip-flopping, lining his own pockets and getting his kids cushy jobs in exchange for legislative favors. There isn’t even one fixed pothole out there anywhere in the country that Biden has ever been responsible for.

CSPAN, McCain is a hoot, guess he doesn’t know what a snowmobile is because he keeps saying snow machine, and to Todd Palin, today will be like a day at the beach

“Also, by implication, might explain where some of the Biden money came from.”

What I’D like to know is where Plugs’ and his wife’s money came from. I recently heard that they’re wealthier than has been explained from either of their jobs, as well as real estate holdings they have that sound interesting.

Anyone?

He’s been cutting deals with rich special interests for decades. Delaware is filthy with corporations only too happy to pay off the likes of Biden. Check out his relationship with MNBA, for instance. It should turn up in a Google search. How he pushed through their bankruptcy bill and his son ended up with a cushy job there.

Sure your name isn't Obama or Clinton? Your answers completly expose who you really are. See, you can't fake Conservatism. So lets go:

Americans pushed so hard to get the British from maintaining a "presence" (standing armies) on their sovereign territory, post-Revolution, that it's just wrong to impose such a thing on other countries (unless the real goal is to subtly push the notion that "do what we say, or we will effect regime change"). What if the British had maintained a "presence" here after the War of 1812, or various European powers actually interfered (by sending standing armies) with our Civil War?

Tranlation: We are occupying Iraq. Right out of the talking points. Not very clever.

Believe it or not, but sometimes, I do have other things to do, and I passed on the Saddleback extravaganza.

This statement completely eliminates any opinion you might have on McCain since he explained his Conservative credentials completely. You have no credence period. How many Conservatives/Freepers missed that? You saw it but your guy got smoked. Go online or something, your not informed, period. Nice snide remark though.

Legally, the individual is recognized at birth. "Life" (the individual) biologically begins at conception, but the exact date and time is hard to track for legal purposes.

Sure its not above your paygrade? That is right out of the too cute by half playbook. Hard to say legally? Is that what I axed, no. You are really digging a hole w/your Roe v Wade answer.

All sorts of nasty things. But, I wouldn't know exactly, since I am not a woman.

Let me help you even though I am not a women either. Massively increases depression, drug/alcohol abuse, suicide, inability to form relations with future children, massive guilt and those are the good things. Your snide remark was much acknowledged. Course planned parenthood likely didn't explain those things to you so you make a joke.

Yes. But that was still her decision to make.

Translation: It was her "Choice". Nice to see your pro-choice.

Oh, and let me ask you this: John Kerry also served in Vietnam. By your logic, we also must show him the same respect and not question him at all, lest we be hypocrites.

The majority of folks in the armed forces are good, honest Americans...but, like the rest of our nation, not everyone in there is that way.

You make it too easy. Kerry was a phony and the people who knew said he was. He got all those medals in 3 mos, while John sat in a prison for 5 years. No comparison.

Some of our military people are not good, honest Americans?? Excuse me, who made you God? Your hatred just slipped through. Translation: Tools of the military industrial complex, but lets move on.

The simple existence of our armed forces scares the crap out of most potential enemies around the world and allows the rest of us to sleep soundly at night, go to school, and commute to work.

That is what liberals think. No, the reason they fear us is because they think we are going to destroy their defenses and remove their dictators by putting boots on the ground like President Bush did. You do agree with what President Bush did, right?

How anyone could think your anything other than a kneejerk lib, heavy on the jerk is a mystery. It is not only your answers that give you away but your pompus attitude to such "simpleton" questions that all you intellectual libs posses.

Ass for your immigration bait, not taking it since it isn't as devisive as you'd like. Now run back to the DNC and let them know how you tricked us. Nothing personal, but we've seen better.

Pray for W, Maverick/Palin and Our Troops

CSPAN: Palin R-AK, Governor

“I will give this great responsibility all that I have to give”

“keep the federal government focused on the things that matter most”

We don’t want bigger government, we want government that does a few big things and does them right”

“ethics reform is now the law of Alaska”

“as a Chief executive, I can assure him it works”

“make Alaska a leader in safe supply of oil”

“a ship in harbor is safe, but that’s not why the ship is built”

“and a servants heart”

“in the darkest of places, in the service of his country, thank you John”

“I am going to every corner”

We are occupying Iraq.

No, our armed forces are just chillin' in Iraq on vacation on the taxpayer dime. /sarc

This statement completely eliminates any opinion you might have on McCain since he explained his Conservative credentials completely.

McCain's actions speak louder than McCain's words.

Sure its not above your paygrade? That is right out of the too cute by half playbook. Hard to say legally?

It's hard to say legally when an individual was conceived by his or her parents, for legal purposes, without tracking when that individual's parents were having sex or otherwise biologically "making" the individual.

It was her "Choice". Nice to see your pro-choice.

I didn't say that it was her choice to not abort the baby. I said it was her choice to keep (including not put up for adoption) the baby, in accordance with your words.

Some of our military people are not good, honest Americans?? Excuse me, who made you God? Your hatred just slipped through.

So basically you're saying that every single member of the U.S. armed forces is a perfect moral angel all the time? Give me a break.

That is what liberals think. No, the reason they fear us is because they think we are going to destroy their defenses and remove their dictators by putting boots on the ground like President Bush did.

Yes, let's put our boots on the necks of other countries, because yea, the U.S. is an empire now and not a republic, just like FR is transitioning from a conservative forum to a mouthpiece of the RNC's propaganda wing.

It's laughable how the new "conservative" (this includes those who consider themselves as "compassionate conservatives") wing of the GOP believes that limited Government and the ideals of the Founders (no standing armies, direct taxes only, no central banking, no "entangling alliances", self-sufficiency, individual rights, leave other countries alone, and so forth) are antiquated and outdated and even..."liberal."

The Bush-Country Club wing of the Republican Party has done just as much to damage the future and the posterity of this Republic as any of the openly Socialist members of the Democrat Party. And neither one refuses to admit its malicious errors.

Keep digging. You replaced your shovel w/a Backho, nice job.

These statements are even worse than the original ones. You should have cleared them. Our troops are chillin? Pathetic humor.

But hey, there might be one left here who believes who you say you are, maybe. Now go back to your workstation and let them all know how gullible we are.

I wonder how many ex-Republicans are returning to the party?

Well, I can't say that I have officially returned since I haven't changed my registration back to "R", but I do feel better about casting my vote for McCain.

Now I would like to see the RNC finance some ads exposing Nancy "Lights Out!" Pelosi and Dirty Harry for what they are, we need help downstream on the ticket as well.

Apparently about 25000 people work in connection with the 535 elected officials on Capitol Hill. Budget numbers that could cause another rebellion if they became widely known. The three senators running in this election have always had huge staffs to rely on for the heavy duty work, and that is how they would continue in office.

Sarah Palin is the real deal, and thank God, McCain recognized it.

but it’s clear from their hysterical over reaction that they’re panicked.
That's very evident....very funny actually....they're besides themselves (showing their racism / sexism) "groupthink"....its what she thinks / does, not her sex / race.
I hope, Phsstpok, can get back on his feet....better health.

“When you spend 5 years tortured nearly to death and offered freedom only to deny it, then you can disregard his service.”

I respect his service in the same way I respect Benedict Arnold’s service prior to selling us out at West Point.

Fwiw, Tim McVeigh served in the Gulf War.

Nothing like an anti-military, cut&run, pro-choice, Kerry supporting conservative lecturing us Neanderthals.

So tell me this, how exactly is it possible to vote for Bush in 2004 and support Kerry at the same time? Because in 2004, I voted for Bush, yet you accuse me of being a Kerry supporter.

Perhaps, in your dimension, it's possible to be in two places at once, to be true and false at the same time, and 1 equals 0.

Still, it is my opinion that the modern "journalist" isn't very intelligent (if so, they would have picked a more lucrative profession--top driveby media stars are the exception, not the rule); and lazy. They are also extremely vain so calling them on their bias....

hence, the term, "Karaoke Journalists".

"The next question will be if they are pi$$ed off enough at the Democrat Party to pull the straight lever ticket. :)"

Further down the 1066 (last time I looked 2-3 hours ago) posts, their wish is to vote out ANYBODY that had ANYTHING to do with Hillary's "crucifixion".

ALL of the Obama bunch's scalps are in their crosshairs, along with Dean's, Pelosi's, Reid's and the DNC for their treatmeny of Hillary.

IMHO, the one person that was mentioned the most for her anti-Hillary actions (besides M.O - "The Bitter One's Wife"), was Donna Brazille (sp?).

From the posts I read concerning Donna, it appears that she will be having to give some very serious thought to adding and paying for at least two new permanent full time 24/7 - 365 employees to whatever income she has at present.

It looks like a food taster and someone to start her car for her before attempting to drive it, are going to become almost certain and essential parts of daily living for the rest of Donna's future remaining time on this planet.

....just sayin'...
