SANTA ROSEA, Fla. | If Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain picked Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to appeal to women, especially bitter supporters of Sen. Hillary Clinton, and I was one of those women, I would be deeply offended.
Palin is a militantly pro-life creationists who, with five children at the age of 44 and one born with Down Syndrome only four months ago apparently doesn't even believe in birth control, stands against just about every thing Clinton stands for.

Now that we have discussed their strenghts, how about their weaknesses?
So, just how many children will dear Tommy permit before married couples have to start using a condom? Is it one, two, three or four? It apparently is not five. This jerk should be living in China.
Well you knew they would. The only question is whether they will get as ugly this time as they have the last few elections. I say they will break new ground in hypocrisy.
Just in the interest of accuracy, The Messiah did visit Iraq in January, 2006.
The Hypocrat Party.
Sorry guys - I forgot the Barf Alert
“deeply offended”, eh ?
So, what’s the bad news ?
Yes, I know
I apologise.
I did correct myself!
Has the place suddenly gone liberal, or do they keep this guy around just so people know what a liberal looks (and whines) like?
He almost outright says no female could qualify. He is a pig. I am sick of the “reason she was pick was to get Hillary’s supporters”. None of the liberal will acknowledge maybe she was chosen because she can do the job!

And lest we forget, Joe Biden presided over the 1991 “hi-tech lynching” of Justice Thomas.....
Well, Tommy, you just keep on killing little babies as long as it makes you giddy. The rest of us will worship, praise God and vote for people who will get you out of our lives!
Are the libs truly counting months between marriage and birth? Isn’t that quaint of them, just precious. Why you’d almost think they disapproved of premarital sex.......
this is just wrong, it isn’t the liberals we know and (don’t) love, they believe living together is the way to go and who cares about sex outside of marriage, not them. And if a child should result abortion is the thing to do. Well perhaps they have discovered their morality too late because no one will view them as anything other than the true hypocrites they are.
“To me, it looks like former President George H.W. Bush’s appointment of Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court, which was supposed to be a bone tossed to black citizens...”
Are you kidding me...this idiot is so F’n clueless...being appointed to the Supreme Court is “a bone.”
Really...I mean really.
There once was a time when being nominated to the Supreme Court used to really mean something. Apparently to Tommy Stevenson of the The Tuscaloosa News its “just a bone.”
Because he is Black and not a slobbering liberal...being appointed the United States Supreme Court...is just a bone...that is by far “the” most racist thing I have ever heard.
WoW!
The dems are really freak’n out here...didn’t know McCain was going to get that kind of response out of the whacko lunatic left...ssssssoooooo General Colin Powell (former Secretary of State), Dr. Condoleezza Rice (National Security Advisor to the President of the United States of America and current Secretary of State)...what would he say about that.
This article appears awfully Racist. Why do you suppose this whack job is so bitter?
No surprise that this emotional idiot is intellectually challenged when she doesn't even know the basic fact that Palin went to Iraq.
The left is going to screw up bigtime. You know they won’t be able to help themselves and will attack a woman who represents a “normal” woman while holding views heretical to the left’s orthodoxy of what women believe.
The Governor seems to be exceptionally underestimated by the left. There is definitely a ‘common’ touch to her which Biden and Obama can’t match. Simply put, a vastly larger part of the electorate can identify with the Governor as a working and loving mom than with a six term US Senator or a striving young black man. This is powerful stuff. The more that the media and her opponents pile on her, the more voters will view her sympathetically. She grew up poor. She and her husband are union members. She’s worked her way up from the PTA to Mayor to Governor to now a Vice Presidential candidate. There’s a powerful appeal in the notion of a working mom who has balanced the demands of home life with professional aspirations...and success. Women want to be like her.
And I don’t buy that women by and large are overwhelmingly pro-choice. Perhaps Hillary Clinton voters are, but one has to wonder if that is as big of an objection for most as the media and scared Democrats would make it out to be.
And perhaps just like the Democrats are counting on issues not being as important as the prospect of making history by electing an inexperienced black man to the highest office in the land, perhaps issues won’t matter that much to enough voters who’d like to see a woman elected first.
