Take a deep breath. McCain just won the election. The left is in full blown panic mode tonight.

“Ditto”. My wife is very non-political, but after seeing McCain introduce Gov. Palin today, and hearing the Gov. give her speech today, she (my wife) has been on the forums all day long, watching news clips on TV, etc... There is a LONG way to go, but, initial signs are mostly positive.
She was excellent; self-assured, intelligent and attractive.
Well, energizing a base which was lackluster about the ticket at best is a good start. This is the first time I’ve felt truly excited about this ticket, and at work today a lot of people were nearly jumping up and down after the news came out and said much the same - that they were finally excited about the election. Something has really changed out there as far as the attitude among the base that is needed for GOTV efforts, etc. - and that is vital.
Thanks. Just watched it. Awesome.
Bye bye Obama bin Biden.
w00t!
I sorta hate to see her use terms like “glass ceiling”. I’m very happy that she is the VP choice even though I was hoping for Cantor.
Wonderful, thanks for the links!!! I hadn’t been able to watch it today..... she is a terrific speaker. She is going to be wonderful on the campaign trail and in office. We are all so blessed to have her on the ticket.
I had been one of the reluctant McCain supporters before today, willing but unenthusiastic. Earlier tonight I went on the McCain website an made my largest ever political contribution in honor of Governor Sarah Palin joining the ticket!!! I suppose there are many, many others responding in a similar way. Barring some irrational disaster I expect McCain/Palin to crush Obamessiah/Biden on Nov. 4. Yippee!
The media and the Demagogues will be desperate to turn the tide and save the Obamessiah, but he’s cooked. Just imagine the smart and articulate REAL reformer Sarah Palin giving a forceful speech about Chicago politics and corruption, Obambi’s sleazy connections, etc. She can crush him single-handedly. Sure, his loyal dolts and party hacks won’t be swayed, but she only needs to sway maybe a couple of million voters at most in some key battleground states and Obama is toast. Governor Palin really is a game-changer. Hurrah!
Missing from this great photo, a son from each family on military active duty.
