Your not going to find a true conservative! You have to take the top ten or so most important issues and pick who agrees with you on the majority of them.
True conservatives do well on the local level but when you go national you have to be more pragmatic.
Who would be worse- McCain/Palin or Obama/Biden?
The choice is clear- vote McCain/Palin.
WE conservatives cannot allow the Obama camp to define who Sarah Palin is to the uninformed masses.
Word of mouth is our friend!
McCain made a great pick. I saw an interview with her months ago, and she came off well. I heard the news and was thrilled, and I don’t know much about her. The more I know, the more I like. The opposite of Biden... I hope McCain/Palin push the “change” theme- they are both better candidates to do this than Obama/Biden. The fact she gave birth to a Down Syndrome child makes a poignant contrast with B Hussein Obama (D-Infanticide).
Is anyone worried about Obama’s bounce?? up 8 in Gallup today. Is this normal after a big convention?
I heard Glenn Beck, whom I respect, say this choice might make him vote for McCain, I perked up. I’ll have to learn more about her, especially her economic voting record, the club for growth should come out with a nice analysis.
I think it is unfortunate that people don’t focus primary on combating american socialism and confiscatory taxes and instead get excited on superficial emotional issues which seem to be of such high value to some social ‘conservatives’.
Here is Palin on Glen Beck:

And here is she on Lary Kudlow:

And a card-carrying NRA member at that!
Hey, if I were living in the days of Edgar Allan Poe, I would be ‘fly voting,’ too.
I will never vote for a president if the best thing he ever did was select a decent VP candidate. McCain is still a far-left social-democratist and I am still voting for Chuck Baldwin.
Someone please tell David Brody about that hillaryclinton forum and their elation, too...!
I was shocked and in doubt about it when I first head the news. It sounded a bit bizarre ...2 year governor of Alaska who used to be a pagent contestant.
Now I am happier about it. I appreciate her anti-abortion stance and anti-corruption stance. She has a ‘mrs smith goes to washington’ facet to her.
Plus it took all the attention off Obama. McCain has taken a huge gamble but I can see these two totally beating him now.
I was desperately praying for this country early this morning, after watching Al Gore & Obama spew their hypocritical lies and slurs while being cheered by thousands of dummocrat hippies last night.
My prayers were answered in less than 2 hours. Babies, guns and Jesus plus Constitutionalist believer.
May God Bless America. HE has done our part, we must do ours.
McCain/Palin ‘08
Even better the MSM were looking at Lieberman and Kay Bay as his picks. Unlike Obama where the ultimate insider Biden had been found out as 'it' so early he himself denied it was him!
it’s pretty funny that on MSN’s homepage it has these top stories just like this:
Evacuations for Miss. | Hurricane tracker
Which path does Obama take?
You have to love the reaction on the liberal blogs, from Bill Burton of the Obama campaign and the MSM.
They cant help themselves in attacking this beauty from experience to having her brother in law suspended 10 days over a divorce dispute with her sister.
I completely find the attacks hilarious and will hurt them and their candidate. Its all they can do at this point and that includes the MSM anchors flailing about trying to find objections to the selection.
You can sense the fear and anger in their voices of protest and her femininity & story is the reason behind it because it could cost Obama the election.
While I am concerned that the
Democrats can hound Palin on “inexperience”, imagine how much worse we would feel had the choice been Lieberman or Ridge or Romney too!
