Wow. Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is John McCain's pick for Vice-President. Folks, this is s close to a game changer as you can get.
Let me give you some instant reaction. I can tell you that The Brody File has been talking to multiple sources in the conservative Evangelical community and the reaction has been EXTREMELY POSITIVE. As a matter of fact, I am told that when conservative leaders heard the news this morning at a meeting at the Council for National Policy, one attendee told me that there is "nothing but elation. People are giddy. They are energized and they now believe that in fact this campaign has the ability to win this election."

I want to see Palin for President in 4 or 8 years. That's my gamble here. And I can live with McCain until then.
Woohoo! You go girl. Yes
Well you know what they say — all prayers are answered, sometimes the answer’s no!
Finally we agree! MCCain - Palin 2008!!
Finally we agree! MCCain - Palin 2008!!
Yeah, Lieberman and Romney. That would have done it. :(
This brings conservatives back. A fabulous choice.
Last night I mentioned to my husband how cool it would be if Gov. Palin told Sen. McCain that she would only say yes if he would agree to drill in Anwar! :)
Too bad it took getting a woman on the ticket to energize the party.
It just shows that we have had a bunch of spineless men running the country.
Raineygoodyear, “Staunch Conservative” that you claim you are, you didn’t “listen” to a word P-Marlowe said in Post 26 above, did you?
Liberman is NOT a conservative, never was, never will be. He’s “Socialist Lite”. Romney would not bring the base the way Sarah Palin will, nor the disaffected Dems from the Fracturing Hillary Fault Line...even a couple percentage points of those damages Obabma irrepairably.
But I suspect you know this...sniff, sniff...is that “troll” that I smell lurking about????
Raineygoodyear has been eaten by the Viking Kitties.
“I dont know who is running McCains campaign but he is a genius.”
“A Magnificent Bastard, if you will... LOL “
Actually it’s Steve Schmidt, also known as The Bullet, a protegee of.......Karl Rove!!!!

Someone please tell David Brody about that hillaryclinton forum and their elation, too...!
I was shocked and in doubt about it when I first head the news. It sounded a bit bizarre ...2 year governor of Alaska who used to be a pagent contestant.
Now I am happier about it. I appreciate her anti-abortion stance and anti-corruption stance. She has a ‘mrs smith goes to washington’ facet to her.
Plus it took all the attention off Obama. McCain has taken a huge gamble but I can see these two totally beating him now.
Victoria Woodhull, your phone is ringing . . .
I was desperately praying for this country early this morning, after watching Al Gore & Obama spew their hypocritical lies and slurs while being cheered by thousands of dummocrat hippies last night.
My prayers were answered in less than 2 hours. Babies, guns and Jesus plus Constitutionalist believer.
May God Bless America. HE has done our part, we must do ours.
McCain/Palin ‘08
“Why is Cindy wearing a cast? Did I miss something?”
A few weeks ago Sen McCain mentioned that his wife’s hand was injured while shaking hands at a reception when she appeared all bandaged up—she was fine before it! (She said it was nothing.) Must have been one of those bone-crushing handshakes; some unthinking individual.
I’ve had a few not as serious, and always yell “Ow!” when it happens and pain shoots thru my hand. Why any man would try to crush an elderly woman’s hand is beyond me. We don’t need any proof, guys!
I think this is an unfortunate choice. This woman is not qualified to be commander in chief. There goes McCain’s best argument. I’m afraid this won’t work out and the Republicans will lose this year.
Then again, maybe McCain deserves to lose after being pro-illegal immigration, anti-tax cuts, and helping liberals like Russ Feingold.
Sarah Polin is not qualified to take over as the president. I wish she were. But as an American first, conservative second, Republican third, I can’t say I’m happy about her selection. I don’t have confidence in her just a heartbeat away.
She’s more qualified than Bambi.
