Palin Pick Causes 'Elation' among Evangelical Leaders
cbn ^

Wow. Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is John McCain's pick for Vice-President. Folks, this is s close to a game changer as you can get.

Let me give you some instant reaction. I can tell you that The Brody File has been talking to multiple sources in the conservative Evangelical community and the reaction has been EXTREMELY POSITIVE. As a matter of fact, I am told that when conservative leaders heard the news this morning at a meeting at the Council for National Policy, one attendee told me that there is "nothing but elation. People are giddy. They are energized and they now believe that in fact this campaign has the ability to win this election."

I think of the ENERGIZER BUNNY.
The Senetor’s pick is an absolute winner.
Politicians with executive experience make good presidents.

I don’t know. It sounds as if she’s a Protestant, but I’m just guessing.

I’m now a HAPPY supporter of John McCain. Something I couldn’t say yesterday.

I suspect that Lady Thatcher is smiling today.

First, P-M, you called this 2 days ago. Excellent job.

I'm not right that often. I should have placed a bet in Vegas at the same time I made this post:

Cantor says Obama, Biden show lack of judgment

I would love to have Cantor as the VP, but my prediction at this point is Sarah Palin.

I really don't think McCain can lose with Palin. He'll pick up a large portion of the Hillary supporters and solidify his pro-life conservative base in one fell swoop.

Plus he will have somebody on the ticket who has actually "governed".

Gloat :-)

Same here. Yesterday I was voting for McCain simply as a vote against Obambi. Today I'm voting for McCain and Palin. I suspect a lot of grassroots conservatives feel that way today, too.

I’m right there with you. My vote for McCain was going to be rooster-blocking Obababama from the Oval Office. Now, I’m voting for McCain and Palin, too. And, for the first time during this campaign, I’M PROUD TO DO SO!!!

I’ve been saying for years that the first black and the first woman to achieve POTUS or even VPOTUS will be a conservative. I am in the elated column.

For those who have been holding back, there are only 2 more days to donate to the McCain-Palin ticket. He then goes onto federal funds only.

No one believes in the wonderful position of motherhood more than I do.But honestly the best she can do for those precious children is give them a future! If Obama gets in ,their future will be dismal.

By the way, I think she will be able to balance both!
