Palin Pick Causes 'Elation' among Evangelical Leaders
cbn ^

Wow. Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is John McCain's pick for Vice-President. Folks, this is s close to a game changer as you can get.

Let me give you some instant reaction. I can tell you that The Brody File has been talking to multiple sources in the conservative Evangelical community and the reaction has been EXTREMELY POSITIVE. As a matter of fact, I am told that when conservative leaders heard the news this morning at a meeting at the Council for National Policy, one attendee told me that there is "nothing but elation. People are giddy. They are energized and they now believe that in fact this campaign has the ability to win this election."

McCain couldn’t have timed this announcement any better.

Just for the tally books, what religion does Gov. Palin subscribe to? I haven’t been able to find that answer.

Family comes first! everything else comes very second...

With that attitude, our founding fathers would have sat out the revolution.

An excellent example of McCain's campaign theme...

COUNTRY FIRST

Those children have a devoted Daddy minding the helm everyday while mom tends to business. They’ll be fine. This is coming from a devoted stay at home mother, too.

The Prophetess Deborah became a judge of the tribes of Israel when there was no man of sufficient character to lead the tribes out of the trouble they were in. She was also married and had a family. The queen of England I guess should have abdicated according to your logic.

The husband of Palin is extremely involved with the raising of the children. You make it sound like she is the sole power in her family going “it alone” as a single mom or something.

Read Proverbs 31...she embodies the notion of a “virtuous woman who’s price is far above rubies”!

I've been going back and forth between the following great individuals for Veep: Gov. Tim Pawlenty and Gov. Sarah Palin.
Frankly, I wish Tim was the candidate for President, and Sarah the Vice-President.

What an unbeatable pair!

Well, I got one of my wishes-—Sarah for Vice-President.
McCain fooled me—what a great decision.

[I admit that I started crying this morning when I heard the news.]

Same here! And I had been rooting for Romney, so was really surprised by my emotions.

‘Tis good to be an American today.

It depends of the degree of disabilites the child displays as he grows. Many are highly educable and more capable then one would think....as long as they are worked with early. Many have normal intelligence and end up having productive lives...I knew one downs student in high school who I ran into years was holding down a job and I had to look twice as much of her “downs” type “look” had been diminished by maturity and make up.

So we don’t know how bad “Trig’s” disabilities are going to be yet...

Remember the Judge Deborah and Psalm 31!

“Was there a reason he did not choose Gov Huckabee?”

Yes, it was the eyes, and his willingness to drop to his knees for a VP slot.

"Why is Cindy wearing a cast? Did I miss something?"

From what I recall she had been having carpel tunnel problems and a few weeks ago on the campaign trail someone shook her hand way to hard. Went to the hospital, I don't know what all they did, but she is now wearing a cast.

Why is Cindy wearing a cast? Did I miss something?

A week or two ago her hand was injured while she was out with John glad handing on the campaign trail.

I believe I read that she has a pre-existing condition that was aggravated by all the rough handshaking.
