So he’s an Eskimo? SO WHAT???

Boy, you are just so full of doom and gloom (not to mention other things) this morning, as usual.

Tough about Mitt. Get over it.

Speaking as a woman, I’d vote for the ticket just to see more pictures of Todd Palin. lol

I keep thinking it would be easier on her as VP than as governor -- which she seems to be handling fine! :)

A quote from a poster on the Hillary Clinton Forum website:

“That’s exactly how I feel - the DNC has hoodwinked us for years about the GOP being racist/sexist... !!!”

I looked at those. Amazing. Those women are really angry, and they aren’t conservatives, but again and again, all down the threads, I saw, “They want to dis women? Watch this. We’ll elect a Republican.” Stuff like that. Amazing.

I totally agree. And despite what they may think, the media certainly isn't helping that media who is bashing Palin is certainly not helping the left at all.

I live in Massachusetts and was thinking it might be Romney, but I am happy about this choice. Palin has a MUCH stronger pro-life record and a consistent one. I am impressed with the way she has devoted herself to her son Trig.

I hear that she is in favor of drilling in ANWAR. I’m also really excited that she is in favor of teaching creation science in the public schools.

Geraldine Ferraro is even saying good things about how the angry Hillary voters may be more likely to vote for McCain now.

Sad to say I have an important meeting at noon and only had a minute to come see how people are reacting to the new McCain/Palin news. But everyone must be trying to do the same thing because it took me a really long time to get on the site!

I’ll try to get on again when I got home from work tonite.

Well, Howard Wolfson admits it is an exciting pick but then talks about how unprepared and inexperienced she is. Figures. I knew the Drive-Bys would consider her small children a negative.

You have to wonder what Mrs. Clinton is thinking, or throwing, this morning. If this ticket wins, it totally steals her thunder. If it loses, she is then left begging Barry for a Supreme Court nomination. Let's see...does she sabotage Mac or Barry?

Mark my words...

I did earlier when you said, " It will not be Palin. Want to make a bet?

and when you said, “ It undoubtedly will be Romney.

and when you said, “ Palin won’t get it. That’s the bottom line."

This "pearl" from MSNBC just a few moments ago, regarding Pailn's baby son, Trig:

"She's got challenges at home to contend with."

msnbc has been in an absolute snit over this all morning. That female reporter in particular has been having a total temper tantrum about it.

The Dems are already out attacking her. That is going to backfire on them big time, IMO.

From what we hear of her, I think she'll come out and say 'Bring it on!'

Ahhh... Sexism rears it’s ugly head (gee that was fast)... I don’t suppose her husband could POSSIBLY care for his own children, could he? Can’t believe they are going to try that crap... It’s going to backfire - BIG TIME!

She has been to Germany to visit the troops. Has she been to Iraq or Afghanistan?

As Governor of a State she is CinC of the Alaska National Guard deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan(?) and as such has more military experience than Obama and Biden combined.

I dare the MSM to denigrate her.

The reasons why he enlisted and why he signed his military contract on the sixth anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks were unavailable

You are kidding. Someone was really dumb enough to write that?

Repeat post for this thread ... I'm gonna watch the tube on the couch ... FR's slowness is driving me nutz ...can't handle it anymore.

I PRAY some comfortably well off, generous, precious, FReeper ... will PLEASE step up and donate the funds for new servers or whatever's required for FR to operate with enough infrastructure for us to avoid this in critical times ... it's the presidential election!!

~~~~~
New arrival: Gov. Sarah Palin and her husband, Todd, hold their baby boy, Trig, on April 23 in Anchorage. Palin's fifth child was born April 18 with Down syndrome.
Palin balances newborn's needs, official state duties
God bless them .. thank you, John McCain! Smoke the pretender away ... put him away .... LET'S DO IT!!
He doesn't look like an Eskimo, but if he is, so what. Kudos to you, I don't care either.
In fact, he's a good looking dude, if you ask me, but I don't want to blubber too much over him, LOL.
