Interesting... Back on Monday I was listening to the DPD scanners, and sure enough a call came through saying that the protesters were saying they needed water. Now, I said at the time that these people were idiots for not bringing their own, but perhaps I wasn’t being fair to them if there were told it would be available at the protest sites...
This brings an awful interesting thought to my mind though:
Bush was blamed when people didn’t have enough clean drinking water after Hurricane Katrina despite the fact that getting supplies in there was a logistical nightmare in Louisiana, but Obama and the Dems couldn’t even get their act together when they knew MONTHS in advance there would be crowds that needed water? That really bodes well for what he would do in the case of an emergency, doesn’t it?
