Aquarius, far out!!!
Special night for these two, Obama and Love have been joined at the hip for months now...they are the first person each other sees every morning, and are the last person each see when retiring. Does John McCain have a 'body man'??? Reggie was at Obama's side throughout the day today, much more than his wife. Reggie has had more Obama face time over Shelly throughout the past year. Just weird. Will we get any Reggie sightings tonight?
The right ReveRUND Jesse Jackson just said: “Obama’s committment to rebuild infrastructure and roads is very concrete”.
Can’t make this stuff up.
these people are pathetic. Fatso should lose some weight.
What happened to Obama resurrecting FDR, like Jesus calling Lazarus forth from the crypt?
I don’t see it in this evening’s program.
**he ascension of the messiah) LIVE THREAD - Day 4**
I have a pet peeve — that of calling Obama the messiah.
There is only one Messiah, JESUS CHRIST! And it was Jesus (along with some others from the Old and Testament who ascended into heaven.
Please, stop it!
Biden did a little freudian slip during his unscheduled speech tonight. He said, “she believes this time we can ruin (errgh)really change...”
Obama youre a young man, naive man
Organizin' in the street sell out the world some day
Ayers' murders you must face
You big disgrace
Wavin' empty slogans all over the place
Singin' He will he will tax you
He will he will tax you
Any guesses if Obama will choose ‘youth hair’ or ‘experience hair’ tonight?
They seem to only notice Veterans who are disabled.
Based on a quick look at the text of Obama’s speech, it seems like a good approach for him to take. Nothing so radical in what he will say. Also, the whole stadium show seems to be what Americans go for now, judging by similar TV events of recent decades. Sadly, John McCain will look like a relic from a past age in comparison to all this glitz & glamor.
But no big deal - there really won’t be much difference whether Obama or McCain is elected. Both are fairly middle of the road on domestic issues and fairly aggressive in terms in terms of projecting power overseas. So why get excited?
I think the alternating narration and obama voice over is a mistake.
It alternates in a manner that implies Barack does not know who he is. The narration interprets what he says and lives and repackages it for an audience which presumably still does not understand what Barack is saying.
Yes We Can!
Dig anybody bring any barf bags? I think I’m gonna need a few before I get through this.
The brazen statement of falsehoods about how bad life is in America because of President Bush.
Standard democratic fare.
