Its interaction with Gustav could be a rare and interesting Fujiwara dance.
I see the NHC is giving that storm in campeche a little bit better odds.
Drat, off to the store again. You can never have too much water....

The levees never were ready. Uncle Beaudreaux’s Construction Company sank the pilings less than half the necessary distance and pocketed the difference the first time. Even if they repaired the problems from the last time, there are potential fail points everywhere.
Sounds like a plan to me.
New Euro still holding on to a major hit for LA with Gustav and Hannah cat 2/3 into s fl...then GOM as a major, looks like cat 4ish by day 7/8.
actually looks like the Euro wants to bring Hanna into New Orleans as well..
new EURO model just out has Gustav hitting NO as a Cat 3 Monday..then in 8.5 days has Hanna hitting there as a Cat 3 also(after moving across southern FL)
Have you a link for that?
nothing that’s available to the public for free yet... should be within the next 30 min or so.
I been good all year(at least the last week) what did we do to deserve three at once!
Hey I saw her first!
Super bad luck for NO and the crude/NG production rigs in GOM.
Angler types in the Houston/Galveston area may want to consider a beach run this weekend, all you need is a spoon.
Throw the line... yank... *bang* 20” speckled trout. Stringer, reset, throw, *bang* 18” speckled trout. I’ve never seen the likes of it.

“Doesn’t TS stand for Trans Sexual?”
Reminds me of a friend of mine some years back who was looking for the website for “Dick’s Sporting Goods,” so he did a google search on “dicks”.
Boy was he surprised.
I usually pull reds out of the bay side using mullet or shad, and those suckers are great. 30” or more is common. (They also tend to fight like rabid weasels.)
WOW! Thanks so much for the links, looks like some interesting times for next week.
