Dick Morris and others are saying what we all know - the speech actually did more har than good. Everyone went away with buyers remorse.

She just gave added 3 points to McCain’s margin of victory in November. Dick Morris is right....the Dems are going to have a serious case of buyer’s remorse.

What I found interesting is she said nothing about *why* her supporters should vote for Obama, just that they should because he is a Democrat.

What I got out of the speech; “No Way, No How, No McCain - But I am not going to give Obama my Delegates.”

As expected she bashed Bush and McCain and then voiced support to Obama, but I did not sense full sincerity in her speech. This was not a swan song speech. She sounded like she expects to be back, and soon.

I don’t think she changed many PUMA’s minds.

“Many Clinton Supporters Say Speech Didn’t Heal Divisions”

Would not have it any other way.

Why should Hillary bother? OBAMA is supposed to be the one to make all the “healing” speeches, with eloquence and oratorical flare. Why didn’t he get up there, say a few clean, articulate and illuminated words, heal a few infirm and then tap dance on water for emphasis? Is he losing his touch?

If she were a Republican, the pundits would have slaughtered her. “Nasal, monotonic, soporific, bloodless, devoid of emotion, the minimum she had to do,” are just some of the milder descriptors that would have been hurled at her. I thought she looked as good as she possibly could.

I think it’s considerably more complex than let Obama lose this cycle so Hillary can come back in 2012. The Obama ‘thing’ was an attempt by many dems to purge the CLinton’s from the dem party...for good. Sadly their choice/tactics was profoundly bad. There’s still a lot of ground to cover between now and the next pres cycle. Will the dems ‘come home’ to the Clintons after 4yr of McCain or is this truely the end of the road for them? My feeling is its the end of the road. Bill is out of control and only getting worse + Hillary going into the primary could only garner 30% of her party. I don’t see her numbers going up.
