I was surpised and started wondering if Tim Kaine cut a deal with the Russians to take Ocean City for him, or give it to Delaware. Then I remembered just how much of a pinhead Tim Kaine is. Man, you gotta be some kind of nitwit to vote for a guy as governor who doesn't even know the state's borders.

For those who do not live in this part of the world Delaware DOES NOT border Virginia.

Biden reportedly commutes from DC to Wilmington by AMTRAK; saves on chaffeur and gas. So, by untilizing one of the worst managed government funded operations, he prospers, personally and politically.

My husband, former Biden staffer, was sent several times to Amtrak to hold the train for Biden. They always said they couldn't hold the train, but they always did.

They have always been a party of we talked about that issue so it is fixed,its solved.

Actions or doing something about an issue have never been required in dem/speak only the activity of speaking itself.

If talking is enough to convince an audience so be it. If not they will emplore the dbm to get the job done.

Either way words win for them, while we need actions.

Brit: That's the big question about this "scripted" convention...the wild card is Hillary and her gals. But it's a lingering wound that will not heal soon. (Boo hoo!)

Mara: The diehards won't be happy with Barry no matter what...Mrs. Clinton will vote for Barry and not let the roll call go for all 50 states (or is it 57) (Brit is looking at Mara like she is dreaaaaaaaaming and again wants to crack up laughing). If in Hill's heart of hearts she wants Barry to bomb, she's can't let on that she made that happen so watch for signs from her and her hubby. The WSJ reports that 21% of her supporters are voting for McCain. She told Barry's folks if I'm not going to be chosen, I will not be vetted! (always the Queen, that Hill)

Bill: I would encourage Mrs. C. to put herself in the roll call vote against Joe...wouldn't that be exciting? (Brit looks amused) It would be a favor to Barry...it's a stronger ticket and would bring the Hill gals over.

Juan: The Clintons will talk about George W. Bush and say that he has not done well after inheriting all the economic and international foreign relations good from Bubba (Riiiiiight....). Barry is concerned that the Bubbas are not going to pay attention to HIM...they want to hear more from Bubba and are worried that Mrs. C. is setting herself up for 2012 (Brit snickers to himself).

Brit: Barry needs to reintroduce himself to the voters (again???) He has another crack at it here and perhaps his football stadium wasn't that great of an idea. That's the challenge in the end.

Mara: He has to show he is mainstream American starting with Michelle talking about her American middle class life (good luck with that, Barry). He has to combat the notion that he's strange, exotic, risky and not ready to be President. (but Mara, he is all those things!)

Bill: It's going to be a Dem year if you make it a Dem/Repub race, Barry as a generic Dem wins. (there's old doom and gloom Bill) Get ready for Bush/McCain bashing but it will not answer the fundamental question which is doubts about Barry. McCain will call Hill tolday to commiserate with her about her injustice...he should pick her as VP!

Juan: Scrappy kid from Scranton story is good but the Dems are anxious and nervous about Barry not closing the deal and not having a huge lead...why isn't he doing it? (Good boy, Juan...Clinton Inc. will send you a little treat later.)

Brit: Barry's bounce may spill into the Repub Convention and nullify the start of that or be the opposite...no way to tell as we've never had back-to-back conventions.
