Great post here showing Barry Soetoro snubbed his base. Now the question is what will McCain do? The election could hinge on his decision.

The south needs to be considered with a Vice Presidential pick now. Wasn’t Huckabee close to McCain and worked to get rid of Romney? McCain needs to pick a Pro-Life Vice who is conservative. Not sure if Biden would deliver the Catholic vote.

Report from MY beauty shop. The gal that cuts my hair is afraid of Obama. The receptionist in loud tones said Obama is a communist, with the shop owner standing right next to her. Both were vehement that they were voting for McCain. The receptionist had watched the Saddleback thing. Neither knew about the Infant Born Alive act which Obama voted against, so I made sure to inform them. They were horrified, so I am sure that message will be spread all over the south side of Indianapolis.

Very cheery day at the beauty shop!

Now the question is what will McCain do? The election could hinge on his decision.

Barring fatal mistakes by candidates or cataclysmic developments beyond the control of the political parties, the VP pick will be the single greatest determinant of this election. Obama's inexperience and McCain's age loom large over this race. So far, this fact is born out by the Biden selection.

McCain needs a running mate as relatively youthful and appealing as Obama. It is a sad, but accurate, testament to the shallowness of American politics. Speaking strictly from this aspect, I would go with Romney.

Brit, as usual, was right on point this morning when he referred to Hillary as the wild card. If she she passionately calls upon her supporters to support Obama, he will be in a very good position coming out of Denver. However, if 2012 is all that matters, she will certainly hold back. Watching for misstatements from Obama and treachery from Hillary is the only reason to watch the stupidity of the coming week in Colorado.
