They should have done it around noon yesterday — people would have stopped their work to watch. The audience would have been multi-millions.
They sould have already had the podium up and ready to give their speeches then.
Instead, making the announcement in the wee Saturday morning hours and giving the speeches in the mid afternoon, they lost mega-millions in viewership.
Most ‘families’ are out shopping, at the parks, enjoying the nice weather, etc. They weren't sitting around waiting to hear this.
This was disastrously poor planning on the part of Team Obama.
