Obama either can’t control his campaign, or he treated this all as a big joke, jerking around his supporters.
Which is it?
At least, that’s what I think we need to get out there as a message to consider.

KNBC Los Angeles is beginning its Friday night newscast as we speak and the most exulted potentate Paul Moyer has just proclaimed that NBC News ...confirms!
Watch your back, Joe Biden.. the last time you ran for prezzie type offices there was no blogosphere. And no Matt Drudge, for that matter.

This strategy may be to keep the (R) turn-out down. That’s all that makes sense to me.

LOL! Wake you in the middle of the night, just to hear them say, plenty of room at the Hotel Kalifornia - with a K.

Oh, definitely. It won’t take long. If we’re betting, I’ll take Monday 8/25.

Thanks for the link. Isn't lucianne mostly left wing? If so, I'm amazed as this little gem was posted earlier. It's too beautiful not to post here actually.

The man is an idiot. (Well they both are, but I'm actually talking about Obama.) His first "cabinet appointment" is a man who got 1% of the vote in the Iowa caucus. You know, I can't even remember a single thing about Biden on that democrat debate podium. Was he even there? If so, for how long? Besides, he (Bama) jinxed himself. Biden is like the energizer bunny. He runs, and runs, and runs... but only wins Delaware. Maybe it's the Catholic thing... would add to Caroline's, "...like daddy..." speech.
This campaign season is pure hell.

Why do I get the feeling that no one else accepted Obamas VP offer? And Biden was the last choice.
That is my first impression too.

This strategy may be to keep the (R) turn-out down. Thats all that makes sense to me. The WSJ has already commented on that...
"I don't think it's a coincidence that Biden's stock began to rise at the exact same time that Russian tanks were cruising through Georgia," says Republican strategist Todd Harris.
Then they wrote...
Expect the gaffe-radar to be hypersensitive in the general election. Behind the scenes, Republicans were called him "the undisciplined senator" because Sen. Biden is known for speaking his mind -- despite the fact that Sen. McCain is known for much of the same.
which leads to this winner...
Mr. Harris offered this quip: "The Obama campaign is going to have to buy for him the shortest leash and a muzzle the size of Delaware."

Someone whos run an olympics, a state and a venture capital firm, perhaps, and is a known turnaround artist??? Yup. And don't forget Romney ran the first Olympic games that were held in the US immediately after 9/11/01... not an easy thing to do with a whole new set of security rules, technologies and procedures. I wish Romney would point that out more often, but he never does...
