MSNBC Chuck Todd just said- “Republican” Dick Lugar told Obama to pick Biden. It shows you what a sorry state the DC GOP is in when we have our own senators trying to help RATS win.

I don't see it that way. It shows how stupid Obama is by listen to Lugar. Surely, being a senator from IN, Lugar knew that Bayh might have been a stronger VP for Obama?

I’m not watching TV, so I’m still in disbelief. Joe Biden? Oh, well, it just proves Obama is naive and arrogant at the same time.

I think they're far from naïve or arrogant in this case--dumb, perhaps, but that is relative to whether one really cares about what is good for the Democrat Party.

I expect them to play up Biden's so-called foreign policy bona fides and experience as an apparent counterweight--and complement--to Obama.

As I said in an earlier post, this is the token old white dude pick, which may perhaps be the first time that an old white guy is considered to be "token;" Willie Nelson was not available for comment. ;)
