A Kansas City TV station has reported that a local printer, known for printing political and campaign literature, is producing bumper stickers for Denver which indicate that Evan Bayh will be the VP candidate for the Democrats. http://www.kmbc.com/politics/17267009/detail.html

KEYWORDS: obama; vp
Of course, this could be a red herring.

Maybe you should read the part, that they are not being produced.

I heard that Bayh said he is not the one. Barry has notified his selection so that suggests ht didn’t get the call.

This whole process is nonsense. Barry is playing the media like a violin. Even Fox is panting like a dog over this process.

Maybe he will surprise everyone and pick Michael Moore...

If the Democrats were smart, Bayh would be on the top of the ticket. Instead, they are going to put him on the bottom of the ticket where he’ll help showcase what an empty suit the top of the ticket really is.

“Maybe he will surprise everyone and pick Michael Moore...”

That wouldn’t be much of a surprise. Nor would picking Sen. McCain for that matter.

Fox had this KC - Bayh story hours ago, but now NBC is moving this:

KAINE AND BAYH OUT OF VEEPSTAKES

EMPORIA, Va. - Indiana Sen. Evan Bayh and Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine have been told by Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama’s campaign they will not be his vice presidential choice, NBC News reported on Friday, quoting sources.

The Associated Press also reported that a Democratic official close to Kaine said the Virginia governor told associates of Obama’s decision on Friday. The source spoke on condition of anonymity because he’s not authorized to discuss the development, the AP report said.

Speculation about Obama’s choice has centered on Bayh, Kaine and Delaware Sen. Joseph Biden. Other names in the mix include Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, New York Sen. Hillary Clinton, New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson and Texas Rep. Chet Edwards.

Jeb Bush?

***

With all this teasing they're doing, I'll bet it's going to be about as much of a shocker.
