Non-fatal, my ass. Maybe not there, but at other locations:

This information is from the following thread:
How many buildings did Bill Ayers and his wife try to blow up?

The same group did just plain old fires as well.

Recently some Earth First terrorists got sent to prison for a long time for just plain old fires.

Not too late for Ayers.

nonfatal bombing

These days just SAYING the word "bomb" in the wrong place is a major deal. I imagine the Pentagon would be one of those places.

A nonfatal bombing by Obama buddies.

There was at least one fatal bombing but the victims were not the ones the Weathermen terrorists intended .

The damned idiots wound up blowing up themselves, their safe-house and all credibility as a serious threat to "The Man"

Say what ever you wish about the racist rednecks that turned "Birmingham" into "Bombingham", you can't say they were stupid enough to blow themselves up.

Says alot about the quality of Ivy League college education. Whadda bunch of morons.

Yeah, your right. “Non-fatal blast” sounds so much better than “attacking the heart of our democracy with a bomb”.

According to Wikipedia:

Ayers’ memoir was published on September 10, 2001.

David Farber, reviewing the book for the Chicago Tribune pointed out that in the book, Ayers “blandly tells us” the bomb that killed three members of the Weatherman in the Greenwich Village townhouse explosion in March 1970 was, in Ayers’ words, “destined for the army base nearby,” (Fort Dix in New Jersey). “The massive bomb contained a box of carpenter nails, and though Ayers does not say, it almost surely was intended to kill many people.”[16]

Also, this in Wikipedia:
Views on his past expressed since 2001

Ayers was asked by an interviewer for the PBS television program Independent Lens, “How do you feel about what you did? Would you do it again under similar circumstances?” He replied:[22]

I’ve thought about this a lot. Being almost 60, it’s impossible to not have lots and lots of regrets about lots and lots of things, but the question of did we do something that was horrendous, awful? ... I don’t think so. I think what we did was to respond to a situation that was unconscionable.
