hope so. Portman or Romney would be fine with me. Stay away from Ridge or Lieberman.

McCain picks Romney, say hello to President Obama!

If McCain wants to win, he needs to choose a conservative, not a liberal.

No Republican in the know is leaking to this particular media outlet Time magazine, a media organization that is openly biased, this is a 2nd hand rumor, and probably disinformation.

If it’s Romney, McCain will get money from me for the first time.

I guess it is true, the GOP is dead, at least to Conservatives. I find it hard to believe that after working so hard at Saddleback to win over so many skeptics, that he would toss it all away again.

I think McCain will only make his final pick after Obama and whomever he picks are nominated. If he were leaning Palin and Obama picks H.Clinton, then he might switch. If the Dims dump Obama for H.Clinton the maybe Rice would be a good pick.

God, I hope this is more psy-ops. Romney would be a disaster for conservatives everywhere and might actually cost McCain the election.

I’d put the over-under at 5 comments removed by the Moderator before this article reaches 100 posts.

Reading these sorts of threads I realize how perfunctory and dispirited our trolls are this year, compared to 2004 and 2006. I think they’d really LIKE to troll with vigor, but Obama just doesn’t inspire the kind of trollery that Kerry-Edwards and the midterms did.

I’d prefer Palin, but could support Mitt. :)

Not buying the headline. Time is just fishing for hit volume by making news.
