Conservatives are no longer in any position to elect anyone nationwide by themselves. Too many of the sheeple are either directly on the dole or indirectly dependent on government largesse. We are reaching a tipping point where a message of individualism and self-reliance will no longer resound with the masses. I wish this weren’t true, but I believe it is.

If it is not Romney, I won’t vote.

What a conundrum!

Pick Romney, lose your vote.

Pick someone besides Romney, lose my vote.

It’s Not About Ideology.

It Can’t Be When You Don’t Control Congress.

It’s about Electoral Votes.

Conservative are not a majority in states that are blue. This is not rocket science. It is obvious. Conservatives are also not a majority of states that are marginal, or clearly they would not be marginal.

The middle decides elections nowadays. A former Republican Governor of the most liberal state in the union is about as centrist a figure as exists and he can add votes in Michigan, Nevada and Colorado.

The true believer types being ballyhooed here the last few days add nothing outside of states already red. A hard core fire breathing conservative VP will get people who are going to reluctantly vote McCain to enthusiastically vote McCain. Well, reluctant votes count the same as intense ones.

Romney can add votes where they are needed and if he costs any, he costs them where they are not needed. He’s a major force and should be used.

Mormons are barely 2% of the US population...pretty marginal number.
___________________________________

Back during the primary, Romney was asked if he would put any Islamics in his administration, cabinet, leadership in the WEH etc...

Romney said No there was not a high enough % of islamics in the US to warrant using any of them in his admin...

Someone must have whispered in his stupid ear that there were less mormons per population than Islamics (and therefore he himself would not qualify under such requirements)

A few days later he was remened about what he said...and asked again...

and then asked whether he would use a black, woman, or other minority ...

he stumbled around in good Romney fashion and gave one of his non-answers...

So we still dont know if Romney would use someone from a minority that is larger than the mormons or not

There can be no effective McCain response to such an ad.

That's exactly right.

And the "cover-the-road politician" will be caught out in the middle of the road in front of a Mack truck doing eighty like a possum that ain't just PLAYIN' dead.

And the next truck going the other direction will run over him again...

Sometimes life IS fair.

New tagline...

Yeah, all those gay clergy in the Presyterian, Anglican, Episcopalian and Lutheran churches are going to give all their monetary support to defend gay marriage in California.

No they wont...

The Romneybots have too much invested in romney himself...

It’s not the GOP its the person of Romney...

Its do or die for them...

For more than a year they have been obsessed with Romney...

The MittNittWitts wont settle for anyone else...

Eric Cantor would not get their support...

Most of them are pro-abortion or moderates leaning left...

They could easily be comfortable with Obama and the Dems...

that’s what Mitt romney’s father George did...

he and his supporters helped Johnson in his campaign...

Attacking Christians doesn't help your cult's case, in fact go ahead, keep it up, America will see just how nasty Mormons can be.

BTW, I'm sure there is no sin in your perfect life, that you can cast stones at the Presbyterians, Anglicans, Episopalians and Luterans - good job! You will be a god in no time.

Awww, those Mormons are so mean throwing stones at us. Don’t they know we’re the true Christians who get to throw stones at them.

We don’t need charity. We got the trinity and it rocks!!

Wow! One of the most ignorant posts I’ve seen here in a long time. Utah happens to be one, if not the most conservative states in the union.

Are the national headquarters of the Presbyterian, Anglican, Episcopalian and Lutheran churches directly mobilizing their members to vote a certain way and actively trying to sway the outcome of a state's political question?

I'd think they value their tax-exempt status more than that. Perhaps the mormons don't have to worry about it?

I think its just the gay clergy from the Presbyterians, Anglicans, Lutherans and Episcopalians that are supporting gay marriage in California. I think they’ve concluded that since they were able to get their respective denominations to accept gay clergy, the next logical step was going for acceptance of gay marriage.

The trinity rocks, doesn’t it?!!

he’s no worse than McCain on most issues

You are wrong about that. Look at his record on the second amendmend for instance, McCain is not A+ or close but Romney is by far, worse than McCain
