From McCain spokesman Brian Rogers, in response to the Obama campaign's new offensive on John McCain's houses:

Does a guy who made more than $4 million last year, just got back from vacation on a private beach in Hawaii and bought his own million-dollar mansion with the help of a convicted felon really want to get into a debate about houses? Does a guy who worries about the price of arugula and thinks regular people “cling” to guns and religion in the face of economic hardship really want to have a debate about who’s in touch with regular Americans?

The reality is that Barack Obama’s plans to raise taxes and opposition to producing more energy here at home as gas prices skyrocket show he’s completely out of touch with the concerns of average Americans.

Today’s estate takes us to Chappaqua, New York which made the news a few years ago when Hilary and Bill Clinton moved there. The home is a vintage beauty built in 1895. It has nine bedrooms, a dning room, sun room, indoor pool with sauna, wet bar and bath. The over 17 acre estate also has an outdoor pool, pool house, tennis court and guest cottage. The acreage is also divided into five estate lots than can be developed. It is listed at $8.25 million.

Obama let his brother go homeless, but John and Cindy adopted a total stranger in need, an impoverished cleft-lipped Indian girl. Mr. “Citizen of the world” Obama has the nerve to imply McCain is racist, when McCain's own daughter has darker skin than Obama.

There's more than one way to get a person of color in the White House.
