A former law clerk for Clarence Thomas is leading the pack of critics saying Barack Obama’s comments about the Supreme Court justice reveal the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee’s ignorance and misunderstanding of the Constitution.

The weekend event at the 22,000-member Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, Calif., was meant to give both candidates a chance to address questions of importance to the large evangelical community. Church Pastor Rick Warren, known for his bestselling book “The Purpose-Driven Life,” posed the series of questions to each candidate, which were aimed at getting to their personalities, foibles and leadership styles.

Obama said he would consult his grandmother, his wife, and Ted Kennedy.

Better off with Moe, Larry and Curly...

Would love to see a debate between Justice Thomas and Obama - then we’ll see who the real mental midget is.

“This is all reminiscent of (Senate Majority Leader) Harry Reid’s comment several years ago that Justice Thomas was ‘an embarrassment to the court’ and that his opinions ‘were poorly written’. Reid was exposed as the ignoramus then, and the Congressional Black Caucus asked him to stop using ‘stereotypes and caricatures,’” she continued.

IGNORAMUS....very good BUT unfortunately that is an understatement!

I know he’s white (hey, Obami’s half white), but can you imagine a debate between Chief Justice Roberts and... Obambi?

“I don’t think that he was a strong enough jurist or legal thinker at the time for that elevation. Setting aside the fact that I profoundly disagree with his interpretation of a lot of the Constitution.”

Obama is right somewhere in our 57 states there must be a stronger legal thinker.

3:00 AM in Washington, DC

Obama: wake up Michelle - the Russians just invaded Georgia.

Michelle: for the first time in my life, I’m proud of Russia.

I believe I double posted on this matter and the Admin blocked any comments on my post. Didn’t know it had already been posted. Anyway here are my comments on this matter.
______________________________________________________
I'll be the first to say I am not a judicial scholar. But I do believe obama’s remarks on Justice Thomas and the others was “over obama’s pay grade”. At least Justice Thomas truly came up from the hard/poor black side of town. He didn't have to move to Chicago to try and make a poor black man name for himself like obamaboy did.
I live not far from the small community Mr. Thomas was born in (Pin point, Georgia). The community is filled with old houses and mobile homes. It sits on the marsh away from the open waters of the Atlantic ocean. But it has families that have pride in themselves and there country. With some exceptions of course. From want I know about Clarence Thomas he chose to be an American not just a black American. Unlike obamaboy.

Obama almost made the statement that Justice Thomas didn't have enough experience, wouldn't that been a great gaffe from the man with no experience.

”Obama started to say that Justice Thomas didn’t have enough ‘experience’ for the Supreme Court. In mid-sentence, when Obama realized that he himself has far less experience for the presidency than Justice Thomas had for the court in 1991, he shifted and said Justice Thomas ‘was not a strong enough jurist or legal thinker at the time,’” said Long, a former Senate aide whose conservative group works to get “highly qualified” justices confirmed to the bench.

Fauxbama says he thought Thomas was unqualified in 91 to be a supreme court justice? Hahahahahahhahahahahhahaha That’s a good one schlub, remind everyone just how unqualified you are for the position you desire to hold.

What an empty suit! This guy couldn’t get elected dog catcher, and the dems have them as their national party nominee.. man how truly pathetic the democratic party has become.

"Obama’s answer about the three wisest people in his life, upon whom he would rely heavily in his administration, also sheds light on the way he would choose Supreme Court Justices. Obama said he would consult his grandmother, his wife, and Ted Kennedy. This is unlikely to yield the highest quality judicial nominees who understand the Constitution and the role of judges in our constitutional democracy,”
Barry would appoint the likes of... The National Lawyers Guild is so far left it makes the ACLU look like Stormfront.

No offense meant to Stormfront in comparing them to the ACLU.
