Obama’s counting on racism to win the White House... a 99% vote from Blacks.

Exactly. Ask any black if they would vote for a black Conservative and their answer will be "Not just no, but H*** no."

“Could Racism Keep Obama Out of the White House?”

Not sure, but I think American common sense WILL keep him out.

I predict that there are many Dims who, publicly, say they support Obambi, but will not vote for him once inside the privacy of the voting booth. That way, they can get the president they really want (McCain) but wax eloquently in public how progressive they are for supporting Obambi. With a resurgent Russian Bear chewing up its neighbors anyone who would vote for Obambi is truly a flatliner.

Can you imagine Sowell on the campaign trail telling the truth to everyone.

To answer your question, “Yes. Find someone with the right ideas, then look for experience.” Your antipathy toward Sowell appears well rooted (I didn’t say well founded).

Sowell is a man who can articulate ideas that are not commonly heard in the political sphere. Being Vice President would give him a great platform to change the dialog, and break African Americans free from the options that democrat ideology has placed before them. That’s why I want Sowell.

I don’t think Sowell, or the country, would be at a particular disadvantage due to him not having been elected before, or not having served as an administrator or executive. The country would be better off with Sowell, as it would then have a person in charge who can make a strong case that the right kinds of laws be enacted. And the huge charade that is democrat ideology would be clear to a much larger group of people than before. Who else can do that, as well?

Your antipathy toward Sowell

Whoa there. I have no antipathy for Sowell. I'm his biggest fan. It's just that his particular skill set doesn't make him a good fit for the job of Chief Executive, any more than, say, Charles Krauthammer's would.

Whoever McCain picks as VP must be someone with executive experience who is ready to assume the reins of power. McCain is no spring chicken.

"..... it’s because he’s black....."

“I don’t know why Senator Barack Obama chooses to insult a black Supreme Court Justice at a religious forum, but his comments last night at Saddleback that Justice Thomas was not qualified to be on the Court were revealing.”

The dirty little truth is that leftist black preachers have been screaming out against any black American who does not toe their line. That includes any black who is not liberal, does not hate whitey, is not one of their religious flock, and espcially is a Catholic. But, I suspect they would do the same to other black conservatives who may be Anglican, Presbyterian, etc.. You see, they want all black people attending segregated churches. Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell and Larry Elder come to mind. I think they may be Protestants who remain outside the traditional black church experience. I could be wrong, but that is my impression.

i really expected Obama to say Clarence Thomas right out of the box Heck Grandma goes under the bus (typical white person) then the next to go is the brother. (uncle tom). I found it interesting for him to say that Clarence wasn’t qualified for the job almost hinting that perhaps he got his job due to affirmitive action. (hmmm)

I’m just really beside myself in anger with my fellow conservatives who, though Obama is a far-left screwball, refuse to vote for him because he’s black. I know that if Ralph Nader, Michael Moore, or Noam Chomsky (Obama’s ideological bedmates) were the Donkey Party nominee, we’d all be massing in huge droves in November to vote them in. (smirk)

It’s possible. Most of America seriously dislikes the racist spew coming from the Obama camp.

Or is that not what they meant?!? ;-P

That is a joke talking about 15% percent of the population having control in electing the President?
