Thanks for the ping!
Obviously he didn't like his conservatism, but if that Justice was in Obama’s eyes not ready for prime time, then he should himself be looking into the mirror and stepping down from the race.
Obama is a hypocrite though, so do not wait for that one.
One of my Air Force buddies and I used to sing that song. We couldn’t play it when we visited his home, however, because his otherwise pleasant and even-tempered mom referred to Coe as “that name-dropping bastard.”
He must have watched it because during todays homily he again mentioned that Catholics must look at where the candidates stand on the life issue.
From previous chats with him I know that he is scared to death that Obama will become the president.
When asked who would he take advice from if he was president, the first two were family members but the third was Sam Nunn.
I think it will be Nunn.
Meek! That is the best pic of Barack ever. Perfectly accurate. Cheers!!!
I recall with great clarity my high school government teacher telling me in 75 that Nunn would be the next President of the USA.
He is a old school dem, better then most of todays reps, in my opinion.
We did feel like he favored Obama over McCain.
By the way, my liberal daughter is one of the Hillary gals who is voting for McCain. One good thing that came out of this election, is that said daughter started watching FOXNEWS, during the primaries, because they were fair to Hillary, while the other news media clearly favored Obama. She now finds herself agreeing with many conservative thoughts. I believe she will one day be a convert. She at least has seen that the Dems are liars and propagandists.
Yeah, I think so too. He is gonna need her, after that performance.
I was fairly friendly with Waylon Jennings in the mid to late 90s since I was temporarily engaged to his Girl Friday/Office Manager...before Waylon moved to Phoenix with Jesse.
Coe would come by a lot just checking on Waylum at the Music Row Victorian Mansion that doubled as Waylum’s office and center of touring and merchandising.
a big imposing fellow but he adored Waylon....hell, they all did 'cept June Carter...ol Waymore did not suffer fools gladly
my little boys turn up the CD player in my F250 and open the windows and sunroof to hoot and holler when Coe is on ...my wife and daughters cringe..lol
You talking David Allen Coe ?..........got em ALL !
I've seen him a few times at the Broken Spoke or Iron Horse....whichever one has all the boardwalks. Coe seems like a tough coot. Definitely does things his own way.
Been watching some of those Waylon clips on youtube....with Cash, Willie, Jerry Reed - Waymore was a legend in appearance, sound, voice. I regret never having seen one of his shows.
I shook hands with Jerry Clower and Justin Wilson,
do I qualify as an expert????
Al Bundy was excited because he shook the hand
of the man who shook Andy Griffith’s hand. I know how
he felt.
You aren’t listening to DAC X-rated are you???
BTW You are right on about the definition of an evangelical.
What an excellent observation! I never thought of it that way. But, that is a fact. We allow 14 year olds the power to decide if a baby should live or die.
Thank you so much!
CG came up with the concept for the pic.
Thanks, CG !!
thank you. sometimes the little gray cells cooperate with me.
He would let Terri Schiavo die if he had a second chance and he won't punish anyone with a baby, particularly the powerful federally funded Planned Parenthood.
He's a faux Christian.
God doesn’t take a paycheck.
