Shortly before noon Wednesday, a possible shooting was reported at the State Democratic Party Headquarters in Little Rock.

Dozens of police cars are on the scene at 1300 West Capitol, and at least one ambulance was seen leaving as KARK 4 crews arrived. MEMS ambulance officials confirm one person was transported to the hospital from the scene.

Shortly after noon, police were reported to be in pursuit of a suspect in the incident on a Little Rock interstate.

He did have a point. There is a huge difference between a building getting shot at and a man getting shot in the chest three times. Of course a human being getting shot and critically wounded is far more newsworthy than what is not just a whole lot more than vandalism.

I’m shocked that none of the big three cable networks are following this. MSNBC has the Olympics on, but they have broken in for breaking news in the past. Also, nothing I’ve seen on CNN so far, and FNC is talking about the missing girl, Caylee.

"Gwatney also earned a reputation for being an outspoken critic of former Arkansas Republican Gov. Mike Huckabee, coining the phrase, “Pinning Huckabee down on an issue is like nailing Jello to the wall.

“Pinning _insert name here_ down on an issue is like nailing Jello to the wall." is actually a common phrase in Germany. My wife used this just last week talking about a local politician, except here it's pudding not jello.

He’s just making a play on the fact that you stated “Republican headquarters” as opposed to specific individual members of the headquarters - as if an entity called “Republican headquarters” was shot at, which is of course, not possible.

Fox News did focus big on the story immediately after the attack.

They may be holding off until more information is available

> First place I saw Russert died was on Drudge. <

Drudge may also have jumped the gun on that story. He probably wouldn’t respect any sort of news embargo, even when the embargo was instituted out of sympathy for the family of the deceased.

Regardless of whether anyone died or not

No, there is no regardless of whether anyone died or not. You're trying to make a comparison between an inanimate object being damaged and a person possibly losing their life.

You are wrong.

DU already blaming us.

Actually, they're already talking about arresting Limbaugh and Hannity for murder. Some even talking about Nuremburg-style trials for conservatives, complete with executions.

Do the DUmmies not even consider that the shooter was an Obama supporter?

Your rude idiotic come back was uncalled for and a sure indication of your IQ level which appears to be several levels below normal.

Because you saying "Hope it turns out to be a Hillary supporter, which is the most likely possibility," is, on the other hand, a sure sign of a high IQ.

Aren't they from the party of tolerance and rehabilitation????

No, I am not wrong, I am right. I was trying to point out the fact that all the attacks on republican headquarters were suppressed in the news during 2004, and if someone had died they still would have suppressed it as much as possible. They are hoping against hope that the shooter is a republican and so they have hyped this out of proportion. People are shot every month in offices across the country and they do not go ape sh** over them as they are this one.

They wanting this to be the great smear on the VRWC that will push Obama over the top.

I am sorry for the guy who got shot, but this is not that big of deal, it is most likely a personal matter not political but the MSM wants it to be political. If you can't see that well, I feel sorry for you.

Both of you guys need to grow up a tad and then get back to me, I tire of your foolish comments.

I know what he was doing I am not the one with the low IQ, he is. His remark was rude and uncalled for, not to mention childishly done. The "Wow" I used in my first comment was done sarcastically, his wow in copying me implied I had the mind of an idiot. If he wishes to make rude comments to people then he must expect to get rude comments in return.

“What the rumors are saying is that the shooter was laid off from Gwatney Chevrolet,”
