CNN says Obama issued a statement and “is sounding more like John McCain” regarding this crisis.
[LOL. Apparently, Obama’s people gave him a fast Cliff-notes tutorial on Georgian-Russian relations.]

So, when confronted with absolute factual refutation of your statments about Georgia being a militant Muslim state and trying ot pass off the BS that Russia is therefore justified in invading them, after that is shown for the lie it is, you...repeat the same BS?
Keep posting...no one is taking notice any more.

CNN says Obama issued a statement and is sounding more like John McCain regarding this crisis. Obama said "All sides should show restraint". Big whoop.

If you’re having trouble understanding the concept that Georgia is not a Muslim nation, maybe you should try KOS. They have the type of logic that you seem to utilizing.
Or are you really just a Putin shill? Old troll?

I wonder if he [Bush] can work on triggering an internal power struggle within Russia between the President and the Prime Minister. As re another post, I don't think his comment about 'regime change in Russia' was a slip of the tongue.
Medvedev has nothing to 'struggle' with if it comes down to a confrontation with Putin. Putin holds all the cards, which is why he personally selected Medvedev to serve as President.
It should not be overlooked or understated that regarding comparative world experience, Putin holds a substantial advantage over our President. While GWB was dabbling in oil, baseball teams, helping out with GHWB's political campaigns, etc., Putin was absorbing everything he could from his KGB mentors and Putin has approximately 16 years of KGB operations under his belt before he resigned in '91.
As unpleasant as it may be to admit, our President's analysis of Putin's "soul" was flawed and unreliable.
If our President miscalculates again in a crisis like the one unfolding before us, it could have cataclysmic results.
Which is why we not only better be hoping that Dick Cheney is paying just as close attention to what is going on regarding Russia and Georgia, we better be hoping that our President will pay close attention to his advice.

None. I channel surfed after I realized FOX couldn’t be counted on to carry the address.
To: TomGuy
God bless him and his people. I hope some form of relief is forthcoming, from the other former Russian satellites who know exactly what is going on...and from us, for whom this country responded when we were in need.

Youre wrong. He [Bush] could OK Israel to bomb Irans nuke plants. He could move the military in to a blockade position around Iran.
You think Israel is going to say 'how high' when George W. Bush says "jump"? You can't be that naive.
As for moving on Iran, the State Department appeasers have essentially removed that option and while I would heartily endorse it, it does very little to help out Georgia. Putin isn't about to back off, if anything it would accelerate the bolstering of Iran's air defenses, most likely with the S-300 (if they don't already have it).
