Excerpt -

GORI, Georgia, Aug 9 (Reuters) - Russia said it had driven Georgian forces from the capital of South Ossetia on Saturday as part of an operation to force Georgia to accept peace in its breakaway region.

"Tactical groups have fully liberated Tskhinvali from the Georgian military and have started pushing Georgian units beyond the zone of peacekeepers responsibility," Tass quoted Ground Forces commander Vladimir Boldyrev as saying.

But right now, Russia attacks and invades Georgia, tries to destroy their oil pipeline (which also affects us, via world economy). Russia is the immediate threat to world stability. ==

Russia didn’t destroy no oil pipeline. And Russia enetered into Gerogia to defend her citizens and peacekeepers which were attacked brutally. Many was kileed. How about thier lives? Does it mean nothing to you?

Georgians started whole thing. They must pay for it.

You know and I know that the BEST SOLUTION is to hit those nuke facilities in Iran.

Read this carefully: You know exactly SQUAT, boy.

SolidWood already caught you getting the timeline of the Holocaust completely wrong and not having a clue what the ranges from Iran to targets in Eatern Europe are. I've caught you not having a clue about us developing missile defense with Israel. Your "knowledge" of foreign policy appears to boil down to "Russia is always right."

You didn't even successfully tell us what you know (because you would have written "I don't know squat") so don't presume to tell me what I know. I know this: President Bush probably has more foreign policy skill in any one neuron than you have in your entire brain.

I can’t say that I trust the Russians 100%. I honestly don’t, I’m suspicious of them. But, there is rampant, knee-jerk hostility towards Russians that’s just way over the top.

I think the Russians should have been made into allies wherein we could have both focused on crushing the muzzies but the dolts in Washington choose otherwise.

From all of the Christianization going on Russia versus it being taken out of the US public life I believe speaks volumes. I’m trying to be fair-minded.

Of course the number was much higher before ethnic Georgians were cleansed from South Ossetia in the early nineties.==

Why ther were “cleansed”? You should know the first georgian-osetian war was started by georgian side. DOes that fact is so inconvinient that you keep forgetting it?

Ivan, when did the U.S. ever oppose Russia building the exact same missile shield?

America’s position is that every country in range of Iran should have one of these shedls, including Russia. Russia’s position is that Russia is only safe if Poland and the Czech Republic can be hit by Iranian missiles. Does that position make sense?

Well Georgians have no choice but to accept this. That’s what I would do if I were the President. Even if the Georgian military were better equipped and trained than the Russians, they are no match for the bear numerically.

I hear what you’re saying, that makes a lot of sense. And I certainly don’t want Eastern Europe to be hit by missles.

I’m very suspicious of the folks in Washington with what they did with Serbia and Kosovo. I think they’re slavophobic. I think they’d want to turn Eastern Europe into a dumping ground for the third-world’s overpopulation. I think they’re interested in destablizing Europe. And I’m thinking seriously about moving my family to Eastern Europe before the US turns into MS13 and Latin Kings paradise. At least that’s what I saw when I visisted last year. And I met some Russians and I totally humiliated myself with the “Red Dawn” mindset talking to them. They had no angst whatosever against the US. So ???

Sorry but I don’t care for knee-jerk reactions based upon racism against Russians.

That you accuse me of racism is proof that you know you have no real argument.

Did the Soviet union invade Afghanistan, yes or no?

Maybe your conservatism needs to come into question if you can’t support an airstrike against nuke facilities.

I never said I wouldn't support such strikes. I said only that you are too clueless to discuss the issue.

May I politely note that you are evading all my questions? You aren’t gaining credibility by changing the topic every time.

Seconded.

You must be getting your news from the MSM. They often take the Russian side because they hate Bush so much that treason is just another word to them.

Your racism comment sounds like a personal matter regarding your ancestry. I am a second gen immigrant for East Europe and my Grandfather carried a Russian passport, but my grandmother came from Sarajevo. Both of them fled for different yet connected reasons. One from a Authoritarian nut case government, and the other from religious bigotry against Christianity.

Have we done what we should have done during the closing days of WWII, Russian obstinacy and the cold war would never have occurred, but we chickened out and kicking ourselves ever since.

This nationalistic drunken society has been a source of much grief and will continue to be until they are dissolved.

Ok, I’m acquiecing to you ... trying to understand your particular position.

I don’t appreciate the non-diplomatic response.

As mentioned in my previous posts, I don’t entirely trust the Russians either but there is racism towards slavic people’s here and it needs to stop.

Building a defense shield tells the muzzies we’ll tolerate your WMD and nuke programs and hopefully our shield will stop it.

Hitting those targets with an airstrike tells them don’t even think about it.

So you believe President Bush is 100% always right? To believe that is no different than the idiots who worship Obama and Hillary don’t you think?

I meant to say, they’ll send a team of agents with tricked AR15’s and combat gear after someone evading their taxes but won’t touch MS13 with a ten foot pool.

Though I'm not remotely happy with current U.S. border policy, you've shown your ignorance again.

Take the third paragraph of this article, for example.

You true. Nothing. But the inbalance created by new shield exists right? Try to put yourself on place of Russia. What did you feel if it was Russia who installed new shield right now?

How can you call my conservative position into question when I don’t support racism #1.

And #2 I want Israel to be protected by a missle system since they’re the nemesis of Iran.

And #3, why am I the only one supporting military action against Iran?

Who are you trying to fool? You aren't even good at backtracking and diverting. All you said until now was basically that Russia is always 100% right and Putin is the best guy in the world. You deride anyone critical of Russia as a liar and sucker for propaganda. Smarten up kiddo, no one is believing you.

How old are you and why exactly do you defend Russia so adamantly, provided you are an American.

BTW you again didn't answer any of my questions.

I’d like to see the Georgians runs some hit-and-run attacks on their supply lines to the rear.

Go for PR hits. Concentrate on Migs, helos, attempt to capture some prisoners in soft targets like supply convolys etc.

Make the Russians pay a price for the blitzkreig.

You were foolish enough to go to a foreign country and treat people we have no beef against like the enemy, and YOU HAVE THE GALL TO BLAME THE REST OF US FOR YOUR STUPIDITY?

Hahaha! Who said that you are the only one? Self-declared? The vast majority of FReepers support strikes on Iran's nuke and terrorist facilities. You are setting up (cheap) paper tigers.
