Michelle Obama: Barack Is No Elitist Potential First Lady Weighs In on McCain Campaign Ad

First lady hopeful Michelle Obama says that a recent John McCain campaign ad characterizing her husband as a self-involved celebrity on the order of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears has it all wrong.
"It's funny to have anybody characterize Barack as an elitist," Obama told "Good Morning America" co-anchor Robin Roberts during an exclusive interview.
"You know, this is the kid who was raised by a single mother, who didn't have access to many resources, who, you know, has walked away his entire life from lucrative careers to work in the community," she said of the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. "This guy, you know... he personifies all of what, you know, we hope that our kids can be."

Obama certainly has an elitist mindset. Remember “they cling to their guns and religion”? You can grow up poor or working class and still be elitist. It’s his current circumstances and views that matter now. To me, John McCain is far better prepared to be president. While it would be great to have a black person as prez, I want one who shares my values and political outlook. Obama is not the man.——Mark

No. He was raised by his mother and her husband a Mr. Soetero [sp], and then by his white grandparents. He went to a prestigious private school and Harvard, so he had access to more resources than most people of his age. He "walked away" from lucrative careers, because he lusted after power, not money. He became a ward heeler (cough "community organizer" cough) so he could plug into the Chicago political machine, and take from it access to power.

Exactly — Barack and Michelle would be arrogant self-important “elitists” even if they were living in a public housing project b/c they would still be sneering and looking down their arugula-fed noses at the masses. Left-wing snotty revolutionary utopianism is a state of mind. A bad state of mind.
But as it is, they live in a million dollar home obtained through a shady real estate transaction enabled by a now convicted felon. They enjoy millions of dollars based upon two snotty “books” creating the fictitious Obamessiah. And they are convinced they know what’s wrong will the poor huddled masses of Middle America still clinging bitterly to their guns and religion: all we need is the divine leadership of the Obamessiah.

FWIW my SWAG about that is his mother was not the kind of woman who could settle down with any man. Like an adrenaline junkie she sought the exotic and a changing scene through her life.

I was unaware that our children should voluntarily take on the character traits of black racists, anarchists, communists, criminals, terrorists, socialists, abortionists and other nasty people.

I thought that uhm, ah, you know, uh, ah, like, hmm, um ..... yeah, you know, I think that we all hope that our kids will be able to speak the English language much better than Barack and Michelle fare when they do not have teleprompters and cue cards. For all that left has mocked GW over the years, I do not see any libs concerned about the appalling lack of elementary language skills displayed by Michelle and Barack Obama.

Everything in Michelle’s statement is a lie.
Obama wasn’t raised by single mother. She had a husband/man around for Obama’s first 11 years and then, from the age of 11, Obama was raised by his grandparents, because his mother goes native in Indonesia.
“...didn’t have access to many resources” — Punahu School, Occidental, Columbia, Harvard Law — poor kid!
“...walked away his entire life from lucrative careers...” — like United States Senator/US President/Messiah — get real Michelle!
“...personifies all of what, you know, we hope that our kids can be.” — A prideful opportunist, liar and fraud — just what I want my kids to be!
