That issue becomes moot doesn't it once it is revealed that he is complicit in the forging of a public document, lying to the American people, and concealing his true identity.

You're quite right from a political standpoint. It would be better if he was nominated, defeated for a variety of sound reasons including the fact that he was lying to the American people with a forged document. I was answering the legal question of how the issue could be litigated.
