The more drivers and bicyclists make the mad dash to get their tires optimized with the correct air pressures the more they will drive a rise in air prices. If this is true then I must conclude that Barack Obama must have friends in “Big Air”.

I know...CNN actually discussed it. They tried to spin it of course....but I expected that.

They brought up that the President can order Congress back to work and Spence said he can make they report, he can't guarantee they will work...or something to that effect, I do not have the exact quote.

Then the CNN person said how even if we drill now there is no guarantee that prices will drop. Spence said that when the President lifted the ban on drilling the prices dropped at a record rate for 2 days because of the speculation that drives the prices. (again paraphrasing, I do not have exact quotes)

One of our Freeper guys told me that the Bureau of Land Management throws up roadblocks to stop them from drilling. Even on leased land.

True. In Brazil the ethanol is from sugar cane if i remember correctly and it does not effect the food supply or food prices.

When we have corn prices at a record high and food shortages because of BIG GREEN wanting ethanol there is a problem.

Plus the mileage from the ethanol is significantly less.
