We need as many freepers there at 4pm as possible. I can pick people up around town in my car from 3:00 to 3:30pm with one stop at union station.
Anyone else email me at aaron@arnwine.org and let me know if you're serious about coming. We will need the signs, banners, the whole bit - but we will also need someone versed in economics to explain the moonbattery.
I can do my part, but other well spoken individuals (there are all types of freepers and that's what makes us great!) would be appreciated. Uniforms help as well.
MSM will be all over this rally since they are not covering our heroes in the house.

We all knew that this was coming.
But the fact that it’s come so soon means that the lefty lunatics are VERY nervous.
This is a good thing.

What the heck can Moveon be protesting, that 70% of the American People want expanded drilling?
The Republicans are there representing the people's will so instead of the Rats and subsidiaries protesting everything maybe they should try also representing the people's will.

Interesting. Our “handmaiden warriors of Big Oil”, or whatever Pelosi called them, must be more significant than the mainstream media’s dismissal of them would appear. Soros sends out his Moveon.org goons to counter-protest an insignificant event? I don’t think so.
The upside is that this will probably force a reluctant media to give our Congressional rebels the coverage they’ve been deserving.

MoveOn plans to push back hard against House GOP By Klaus Marre
"Liberal group MoveOn.org is urging its supporters to push back hard against House Republicans who have been seeking to pressure Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) to allow a vote on offshore drilling.
Although the House is in recess, several Republicans on Friday and Monday have taken to the floor of the chamber to discuss the countrys energy woes and demand that Pelosi bring back the House and give the GOP an up or down vote on expanding domestic oil production.
Now MoveOn is planning to get involved.
Republicans have been escalating their attacks on [Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.)] and the Democrats over oil drilling, and we need to push back hard, the group said in an e-mail to supporters, asking them to come to a 4 p.m. rally at the Capitol.
Speaker Pelosi blocked their plan because it won't help lower gas pricesbut it will line the pockets of Big Oil executives, the same people donating millions of dollars to Republicans, the e-mail said. But Republicans are working hard to make it seem like they're fighting for cash-strapped commutersand not the oil companies who wrote their plan.
The group plans to point to the ties between the GOP and Big Oil.
Weve invited the media, and having a good crowd is critical to show them that voters dont want oil industry gimmicksthey want real solutions like alternative energy to solve our energy crisis, the e-mail said.
MoveOn acknowledged that Republicans have been dominating the debate around gas prices for weeks with their sham drilling plan, adding that the House protest is getting a lot of press coverage. "

Aaron, good job my friend.
You're gonna be a good replacement for the DC Freepers until Kristinn gets back.
I'll be there in spirit, and if you can mobile freep, please do.
Take pictures, video, audio.
Don't rely on the MSM to document our side.
Emails are going out to some others that may be interested.
