Here's Mark Steyn at the Heritage Foundation (January 10, 2007) expounding on the thesis of his great book, America Alone. If you haven't read the book yet, take the time to listen to this hour as it basically sums it up.
It's tough to swallow, but Steyn's got a point...if you look at the demography, the Western world is willfully giving up the fight...

Steyn was an utter scream when he guest-hosted for Rush last week. I knew he was smart and sharp but I didn’t know he was glib enough to run a radio show. Very funny.
Always listen when Steyn talks!!! His “America Alone” is worth reaking TWICE...because Steyn is so right on in his thinking. For a Canadian born, now LEGAL American, he is here and helping all of us native born slugs become more educated about our freedoms, which we all take for granted!

I'll second that! The format is in rigor mortis. Nothing new, boring, repetitive; the same cliches, over and over, endlessly.
Hannity runs a solid conservative talk show, but he gets repetitive repetitive.
Steyn not only has a unique perspective on almost everything, he has fresh material every day ... especially in regards to international happenings and the daily doltish response by the Democrats.
Steyn has such a cool British sounding accent.
How is it that he was born in Canada?
I may be wrong about this but Canadian, by birth, and by his own words. He MC’d Rush’s show not long ago and said as much. He resides in New England today, not sure which state.
I believe that Mark explained that one time. It seems that he wanted to be close to his mother at the time. :)
Agree! I do listen to his talk show occasionally but can’t stand the his show on TV due to the interaction and yelling COlmes.
Steyn is far smarter than most anyone else on talk radio and his insights are always unique. That goes for Hannity and O’Reilly.
I believe Steyn is an alias, read somewhere he has a nice hyphenated English name in reality !
Festering Europa..
I thought he was pretty good, but not nearly as funny as I’ve heard him before and of course each of his satiric essays is polished to diamond-like clarity and focus.
He went to school in Birmingham, England.
I believe it’s New Hampshire (said, of course, like steyn).
I believe you are right on!
