B. Hussein Obama has come and gone on his visit to Jalalabad Air Field in eastern Afghanistan. He landed about 1515 local and was gone by 1800, which is more than enough time for any Democrat to check the Natioanl Defense box, and he is now just as qualified as John McCain to speak on all matters related to Operation Enduring Freedom.
During his visit he toured the Task Force (TF) Bayonet 173rd Brigade (Sky Soldiers!) Headquarters and Tactical Operations Center (TOC).
Well, that's the big news from the front line fellow FReepers. Keep up the fight at home and we'll do our part here.

I wonder if his little buddy Hagel was with him on the tour as expressed by the newsbreaks on AM radio here in VA.
Come on, Captain. That can’t be the long and short of it. The sun shone, right? The temperature moderated, didn’t it? Tables appeared with manna and cool drinks which replenished themselves as needed, yes?

Yesterday assuming his trip was to Iraq I posted:
“A day? Two days? How long is Obama going to be in Iraq? Long enough to state he’s been there? He’ll listen to what he wants to hear, and won’t listen to that which he doesn’t want to hear.
He’ll come back and say “we will pull out of Iraq” just as he says today, but DA’s across the spectrum will say “He’s been there, he knows that of which he speaks”.”
I blew it didn’t I. He went to Afghanistan instead of Iraq, and spent all of what, 2 hours and 45 Minutes.
This will make him the expert on the WOT per MSM.
I’m going to email all on my list so they know just how long this mighty warrior leader spent in Afghanistan.
